Chapter 1516

I thought he really liked Eunice, so he wanted to get married to her. I witnessed them actingintimately with each other a few times before. Even I, as an onlooker, could tell that something wasgoing on between them, let alone Yana. How could she know that this was just for show?

Upon sensing that I was agitated, he said, "I didn't expect that Yana would end up leaving me. Butthis is all in the past, so let bygones be bygones. Don't worry about me, I'm fine!"

"I'm not worried about you!" I was fed up with him. He could have settled down with Yana, and thewhole family could live happily ever after with Carney. However, he chose to involve Eunice just forshow. He lost the person he loved because of this. Wasn't that what an idiot would do?

I hung up in rage. Watching Eunice struggling to fight back against her attacker, I wanted to call thesecurity guard, but I stopped at the door of the security booth and returned to the mall instead.

Some people chose their own paths, so they had to accept the consequences.

There were many people around, but no one stopped them. Perhaps they looked down on her asthe man said that Eunice was willing to do anything for money. Or because they heard that she hadan STD, so they all stayed away from her and didn't want to have contact with her out of fear.

Eunice was terribly beaten up by the man. All of a sudden, another man rushed into the crowd andstopped the former. He shouted, "Hey, even if you were trying to teach her a lesson, it's enoughnow. She has been beaten up badly. Even if you are angry, you can't kill her, can you?"

Being stopped, the man was filled with fury and shouted at the man who had just appeared, "Mindyour own business. Don't meddle here. Get out!"

"Vincent, let's go. Don't intervene!" I heard a familiar voice and looked over. It was Estella. She tookVincent's arm and tried to stop him.

Vincent looked at her and replied tenderly, "Wait for me over there. Don't come over. I'll be quick."

Then, he looked at the man and said, "Hey, since we have come to this point, let's stop here, alright?"

The man didn't want to settle the problem in a civil manner at all. He was already in a rage, andwhen Vincent interrupted, he got even more furious.

He raised his fist and swung it at Vincent. Just as everyone was shocked, Vincent quickly avoidedthe man's blow and took the opportunity to grab the man's fist. He persuaded, "Hey, don't overdo it."The man was offended, and he was in a bad mood. He cursed angrily, "I told you to mind your ownbusiness." He raised his fist again to hit Vincent. Vincent could not avoid it in time and took the hardpunch.

In a split second, Vincent, too, raised his fist and punched him. He did not show any mercy. It wasobvious that he was good at fighting.

People in the mall crowded around them. Some of them pulled out their phones to start filming whilesomeone contacted the police. I quickly cried out to Vincent, who was still fighting, "Stop it, stop it!"

I called to Estella, "Go get the security guards. Don't let them fight, or they'll get into trouble."novelbin
