Chapter 1439

The waiter served up some fish and crabs. I glanced at the waiter and asked, "Can you give me aspoon and a knife?"

The waiter looked at me with a strange expression, but still nodded and retrieved the cutlery for me.I placed the crab on the table, broke the shell and started scooping out the flesh of the crab with thecutlery. Even though it was not delicious, it was still edible.

It also brought me extreme enjoyment to dissect the living creatures. Hendrix did not stop me. Hejust quietly watched me dissect them as I ate.

After a long time, I felt a little exhausted. I put down the cutlery and said, "I used to wonder whatwould I do if one day, I encountered someone who I really hated. Back then, I always thought Iwould toss him into prison. Now, I think I have a change of mind."

Hendrix looked at me and finally said after a while, "What do you want to do?"

I pursed my lips and said, "Is he still with you?"

He nodded. "Yes!"

I smirked and looked at him. "Hendrix, you will indulge me, won't you?"

He pursed his lips and did not speak. I smirked lightly and stopped asking.

He got up and said, "Let's go and meet John."

In the suburban villa, Hendrix stopped the car. Evan came out of the villa and looked at me, with aguilty expression. "Mrs. Roberts, are you feeling better?"

I smiled and nodded. "Well, yes. Is he inside?"

He nodded and led us inside.

John's full name was John Caulfield. He was not some hot shot, but he'd just inherited his family'smoney. His ancestors were coal miners, and his sister had married a civil servant, Oscar. Over theyears, they'd used their wealth to gain quite some power.

The more money Oscar spent, the higher he rose in ranking, and thus he also gained more income. However, John was not as capable, so he could only stay in Asherton and rely on his brother-in-law's power. Because of his strange hobby, there were a lot of ladies who got humiliated by him.

Staring at the man in front of me, tied to the chair with a severely bruised face, I couldn't help butsnort. "John, what a coincidence. What are you doing here?"novelbin

He looked at me in a daze. After registering who I was, he widened his eyes and looked at me,begging for mercy, "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were Mr. Roberts' wife. I deserve to die, I deserve todie. Please, please let me go. I didn't mean it. If you let me go, I will give you as much money asyou want. Please let me go!"

Looking at his disgusting appearance, I sneered and glanced at the gloomy weather outside. Ilooked at Evan and asked, "Evan, is there an open-air swimming pool in this villa?"

Evan nodded. He looked at Hendrix, who was standing to one side with a sullen expression, andreplied, "Yes, it's in the backyard."

"Then that's perfect!" I said, looking at John, "It's rare that we can meet up like this. Let's go andhave some fun."

After that, I walked towards the backyard. Hendrix seemed to know what I was about to do. He justwarned me, "Don't kill him."

I raised my eyebrows and sat down in a comfortable position by the pool. I looked at John, who wasbeing dragged over and said, "John, I believe you like playing with water. Why don't you have somefun today?"
