Chapter 1373

He gave me a cold stare. Narrowing his eyes, he said, "It seems that you have forgotten yourobjective for today."

I flew into a rage. "Sebastian, what's wrong with you? You're the one who asked me here as yousaid you have a way to save my daughter. Also, it was you who struck a deal with me that if Ifollowed your instructions, you’ d help my daughter. I obliged. But right now you are forcing me andrefuse to let me get out of the car. Do you realize how sickening you are? Don't you realize that ithas been tormenting for me to be in your presence even for one single minute? You're a lunatic.Just be frank. Tell me if you never intended to give me any information at all!"

He stared at me motionlessly. I realized I had been sharp- tongued. But I simply could not restrainmyself any longer. Having had to put up with his despicable behavior for the better part of the day, Iwas already disgusted beyond words.

There was a moment of silence. The atmosphere was already chilly, and so, coupled with thetension between us, I shivered. I was expecting that he would drive me out of the car or beat me up.

Much to my surprise, he did not. Instead, he just stared at me and then said calmly, "This guy's atAsherton. Take this and meet him at this address. He can save your daughter."

Sebastian held out a name card. Momentarily, I was stunned. Then, I said coldly. "Stop here," Iinstructed, despite accepting the card. "I want to get out of the car."

He parked by the roadside. I pulled the door handle, only to find that it was still locked. I glaredsideways at him. "I had thought that you got pregnant at an inopportune timing and therefore thebaby should be gotten rid of... However, it seems that my mom is elated over your pregnancy. Shesaid she wanted to start knitting sweaters for the baby already! She loves children, and so, after thebirth, she'd take good care of the baby."

"Lunatic!" I said. I refused to listen to his twisted, despicable words. Whatever he said, he would geton my nerves. "Let me out!" I exclaimed as I glared at him. "The baby has got nothing to do withyou."

He chuckled and his eyes had a tender look, "Tell Hendrix that I'd look after you and the baby forhim."novelbin

"You're insane!" I said. He was clearly sick in the mind!

He finally unlocked the door. Immediately, I got out. I did not wish to stay in the car, not even for asecond more.

As soon as I got off, I walked in the opposite direction. I grabbed my cell phone and called Hendrix. The call was connected in an instant. "Hendrix!" I exclaimed.

After a moment of silence, he said softly, "I'm right behind you!"

I turned around and saw a black Bentley. I collected myself and realized that it was Hendrix's car.

His cold voice spoke on the call, "It's cold out there, come in."

Having been in a relationship with him for several years, I had a gut feeling that he was in a badmood. I hung up and got into the car. The temperature was warm, but there was a cold tension inthe air...

After fastening my seat belt, I took a deep breath and looked at Hendrix. He was holding onto thesteering wheel. "Wh- when did you get here?" I asked.

He looked sideways at me. I could tell that he was suppressing his anger. He restrained himself andasked, "Why didn't you tell me?"
