Chapter 1299

Her actions seemed to have made the woman in front of her more agitated. The woman raised herhand and was ready to hit her again.

"It's so lively here. Are you eating here, Mr. Shelley?" I interrupted and pulled Hendrix into the room.

Hearing my voice, they all looked over. I saw clearly the face of the woman who had hit Chloe. Itwas Andrea. I didn't know it was her just now, but when I saw her, I was taken aback.

Seeing Hendrix by my side, she composed herself and put down her hand. She looked at Hendrix, trying to appear pitiful and innocent. "Hendrix, what are you doing here?"

Hendrix glanced at her and said, "For dinner!" Then he looked at Austin. His eyes fell on Chloe, whowas holding onto Austin's arm. Hendrix frowned slightly.

"What's going on?"

This question was directed to Austin.

Austin said, "It's just dinner. Everything's all right."

"What do you mean, nothing? Austin, if you want to do something, you can say it directly to my face. You don't have to bring out these women to disgust me." It was Andrea who said this. Her voice wasa little intense and somewhat unsteady.

Chloe was not a pushover. She looked at her and shouted, "Andrea, watch your mouth. What doyou mean by these women? How highly do you think of yourself?"

They were about to quarrel. I pursed my lips and said, "You guys are having a good time eating. Inthis case, everyone in this restaurant will be coming over. Mr. Shelley, don't you feel embarrassedthat your family business is under public scrutiny?"

Andrea suddenly turned to glare at me. "Since when does Miss Reid like to stick her nose into otherpeople's business?"

"Sort this out among yourselves!" Hendrix said in a low and violent tone. He stared at Austin andsaid, "You can bring shame onto yourself but not the Roberts and Shelley families. We can't affordto be embarrassed by you."

Austin licked his lips. Apparently, he was in a bad mood. "Cut it out. I can't even have dinner now!F*ck off!" Saying this, he shook off Chloe's grip, then turned around and left the room.

Seeing that things had escalated this way, everyone left as well. Andrea ran out after Austin.

After a while, Chloe was the only person left in the room.

I held onto Hendrix and hesitated for a moment. Then I looked at Chloe and warned, "Don't provokeAustin. You should know better than anyone else why he let you get close to him."

After that, I tugged on Hendrix and was ready to leave. However, I was stopped by the sound ofChloe's voice. "Why are you helping me?"

I frowned and turned around to look at her. "I'm not. I was just giving you a reminder." Austin'sfeelings for Andrea were not temporary. Over the years, he had been by Andrea's side no matterwhat happened. He hadn't taken another woman. Now suddenly, he was involved with Chloe. It wasobvious that he was only using her to provoke Andrea.

Chloe smiled bitterly and said with some self-pity, "It doesn't matter. What I want is only money. What happened between them has nothing to do with me."novelbin

I shrugged my shoulders and said no more. "Good luck then!"

In the end, it had nothing to do with me. I just mentioned it casually. It didn't matter to me whethershe took my advice or not.

I pulled Hendrix out of the room. Aaron was probably wondering where we had been, since we wereaway for so long.

"That child was sent by Josiah to a factory in the suburbs at that time. You'd better check it out. Hehadn't intended to let the child live, and I'm not sure if he had done anything to the child. I don'tknow if there will be any hidden illnesses." Chloe's voice came from behind.
