Chapter 1250

"You... are despicable!" the man was clearly angered.

Tobias chuckled, looked at him, and said, "You seem to be a thug from the mainland. Thebenefactor over there should have treated you well."

The man was impatient and said coldly, "Just ask whatever you want to ask. There's no need tobeat around the bush!"

Tobias raised his eyebrows and asked, "Well, I don't want to waste your time anymore. When didyou guys come to Oakland?"

The man probably felt a little puzzled, so he answered, "The day before yesterday!"

Tobias hummed and leaned on the sofa lazily. He looked at me and said, "Well, I've finished askingmy questions. Miss Reid, please go ahead!"

I couldn't help but frown. Was that all he wanted to question?

What was he trying to do this time?

I didn't understand what Tobias had in mind, so I glanced at Sheridan and asked, "Mr. Lawson, didhe reveal where Hendrix is?"novelbin

Sheridan shook his head and replied, "I can't get any clues from him!"

I hesitated for a moment and walked to the kitchen. When I came out, I was holding a knife in myhand.

Tobias saw it and laughed out loud. "You're interesting, Miss Reid," he said.

I rolled my eyes at him, walked towards the man on the ground, looked at Sheridan and asked,"Mr.Lawson, can you keep him under control and prevent him from moving?"

Sheridan nodded and gestured at the two subordinates next to him.

The two men worked fast. They quickly pressed down the man on the ground. Holding the knife inmy hand, I looked at the man and demanded, "Tell me, where is my husband?"

The man was not afraid of my knife at all. He looked at me and said, "As I said, we killed anddisposed of Hendrix not long after we abducted him. The police should have found his body!"

I suppressed my anger and looked at the two men. "Hold his hands!" I ordered. The two men did asI said.

"You can remain silent, but the price will be your own hands. Since you said that you had killed myhusband, then you should pay the price. I will take your life. It's too easy for you to die in this way.Let's start the questions one by one. If I am not satisfied with your answer, then I want one of yourhands. If I'm still unsatisfied, I will cut off your feet next. If you continue to disobey me, then I will letyou live with no arms or legs. Have you ever heard of being tortured? After I cut off your limbs, I willnot kill you. I will soak your naked body in a salt tank and make your life a living hell," I stared at theman and said, word by word.

The corner of Sheridan's mouth twitched when he heard this. He probably felt that it was too cruelfor a girl to say something like that.

Tobias couldn't help but open his mouth and said, "D*mn, you woman. Why are you so disgusting?""Shut up!" I shouted and glared at Tobias. Probably because he had never seen me like this before,he was startled. He raised a hand to rub his nose and finally shut up.

The man on the ground looked at me and said as if he was a dead pig who was not afraid ofscalding water, "Are you trying to scare me?"

I sneered, raised the knife in my hand and brought it down without hesitation. All of a sudden, thesound of a man screaming like a pig in a slaughterhouse rang through the room.

It happened within seconds. Tobias who was in a languid posture suddenly sat up straight andlooked at me, shouting, "God d*mn it, are you serious?"

As he shouted that, he hurriedly called the family doctor and glared at me. "D*mn you! If you want tokill someone, you should leave! My floor is worth a few million dollars, if you get blood on it, youneed to pay for it!" he shouted.
