Chapter 1194

Then, the two men started drinking. I could only helplessly watch on.

It was normal for men to have a drink and smoke to relieve their stress and frustration. Women tendto cry or speak out, which won't have a negative impact on her mind and health.

I suddenly figured out why so many husbands died before their wives. It was probably becausemore than half of them drank and smoked.novelbin

They kept drinking. Aaron wanted to get himself drunk, so he kept gulping down big mouthfuls ofwine. After a while, he started wobbling, so he rested on the table with his chin in his hand.

Seeing the blush on Hendrix's face, I guess he must be drunk already. I raised my hand to stop hishand from raising his glass and said, "Hendrix, stop drinking. This is not good for your health. Please listen to me!"

He looked up at me, smiled widely and said, "It's okay!"

I frowned and stared daggers at him. "Hendrix, you..." I said.

Hearing this, he put down the wine and said with a slight smile on his handsome face, "Okay, I'llstop

drinking."

Aaron was a little drunk. He lay slumped on the table, looked at us, and said in a slurred voice, "Arethe two of you done yet? I am f*cking trying to get drunk here. Can't you show me a little sympathyand give me a little comfort?"

Hendrix raised his eyebrows but didn't say a word. Instead, he was looking at me with a handsupporting his chin, a sense of admiration in his eyes.

I moved my gaze away from his eyes, looked at Aaron, and focused on the problem, "Did youquarrel with Yana? Or have you done something bad?"

He snorted and said with dissatisfaction, "What do you mean have I done something bad? Whatkind of bad things can I do?"

I raised my eyebrows silently.

After a moment of silence, he sighed defeatedly and took a smaller sip of wine. He lowered hishead and said after a while, "Yana wants to leave me. What would happen to our child?"

I took a moment then said seriously, "Aaron, do you care about Yana's departure or the fact thatyour child wouldn’t have a mother if she left?"

Aaron didn't say anything but swallowed a few more mouthfuls of wine. Then, he sighed again, 'T mworried that my child would lose his mother if she left. He is still too young"

Browse lowered, I felt a little angry. "Aaron, Yana has given you so many years of youth and love. Inthe end, the only reason she gets is that your child needs a mother. What about you? For you, isshe just a tool to help you give birth to a child? For you, she is not even as good as a wife?"

He looked at me, a little lost and helpless. "I have given her everything I can and what I should giveher. Except for marriage, I have given her everything else. Why is she still not satisfied? She cannever find anyone in her life again who can give her all the things I have given her."

Looking at Aaron, I suddenly didn't know what to say. Perhaps his thoughts and way of living madehim think that what a woman wanted most was to be able to eat and wear the best food andclothing. However, everyone was different. Perhaps what Yana really wanted was not money.

However, I couldn't make this clear to Aaron. After all, all of these were just our own different way ofthinking and had nothing to do with right or wrong.

I couldn't help but look at the silent Hendrix beside me and asked, "It's getting late. Shall we gohome now?"
