Chapter 1190

He nodded and looked at me. He obviously didn't have the intention of saying anything else. Hisgaze fell onto the two thermal lunch boxes.

I hesitated for a moment and stuttered, "I..."

"Am I suppose to eat both of these?" He looked back at me and raised his eyebrows slightly, "Or didyou plan on eating with me?"

After the fight we had, I knew that I was wrong, but it was so hard to release my grip on pride all atonce. I mumbled, "It's all for you!" I wasn't hungry anyway, I told myself.

He sat down beside me and began to open the lunchbox. Seeing that the two dishes were thesame, he took out both bowls and chopsticks, placed one set in front of me, and said, "Eat!"

I pouted, "I'm not hungry, you eat!"

He looked at me and joked, "Are you going to be a full-time pig breeder in the future?"

What? After a while, I realized the joke and that he was saying that he couldn't finish all of the food.Giving him two lunch boxes was no different from feeding a pig.

With a blush on my face, I took the chopsticks and

lowered my head to eat.

After a moment of silence, I took the initiative and said very seriously, "Hendrix, I'm sorry!"

In the face of my sudden and inexplicable apology, he just looked at me slightly and then nodded,"Well, ok."

After that, there was silence.

The corners of my mouth twitched, wasn't his answer was too perfunctory? I finally took the initiativeto apologize, but he only replied a few words and nothing else?

I couldn't help but sigh. I didn't know if I should be happy or angry.

After he quietly tasted all the dishes on the table, his black eyes fell on me. He said, "Will you gohome with me tonight?"novelbin

Although this was a question, I felt that this was an order. I was stunned for a moment and didn'trefuse him directly. I said, "I've just returned to the Moore Family. I want to have a good time withthem. When I was in the morgue, I thought that I should accompany them and tell them that I reallylove them. Hendrix, I know that I'm not an excellent daughter, but I'm an ordinary person after all. Iwant to enjoy the love of my parents like an ordinary girl."

He looked at me with deep eyes. After a long silence, he nodded, "Well, don't let me endure for toolong."

He used the word 'endure', not wait. It was more tormenting to endure than to wait. It was evenmore difficult.

I studied his face. I haven't seen him for a few days. There was some weariness in his eyes andhints of loneliness.

What I saw stabbed my heart. With the twinge of pain in my heart, I raised my hand and touched hiseyebrows unconsciously. I said slightly, "Have you been very tired recently?"

He held my hand and said with soft eyes, "It's normal."

I suddenly realized that I rarely showed actual concern about him. I leaned into his arms andhugged him. I asked heavily, "Hendrix, do you think that I'm not qualified to be your wife?"

He patted the strands of hair on my forehead and was surprised that I would suddenly saysomething like this. He said, "Why do you always deny yourself? Arianna, we're no longer theimmature people we once were."

I nodded. I leaned against his chest and listened to his heartbeat. Then I said, "How about you stayat the Moore Family's residence? The project in Lancille Village has not been completed yet. After

National Day, I have to go back again. I know that the Roberts Group has many things making youbusy. Although I can't help you with much, I can massage your back or something when you comehome tonight. Besides, my mother can make delicious food. Is this okay?"
