Chapter 1142

He gestured to those behind him and allowed a person I was particularly familiar with to enter.

The man was wearing a custom-made royal blue suit, his hair neat and clean. When he saweveryone, he was charming.

He said with a smile on his face, "Sorry to keep everyone waiting!"

Sebastian stood up to greet him with a huge smile on his face too. After shaking hands with him, hesaid, "Mr. Granger sure has to deal with a lot of affairs every day. We've ordered the dishes, andthey'll be served soon!"

Then, he led Irvin to his seat.

I looked at Irvin, who was sitting opposite me. I frowned and thought, why did he appear here as therepresentative of the third party company?

I looked sideways at Hendrix and saw that he was just calmly removing a lobster's shell. When hesaw me looking at him, he smiled and asked, "Hungry?"

I shook my head and opened my mouth to say something, "No..." and he took the opportunity to puta piece of lobster into my mouth.

I couldn't spit it out so I chewed. It was very sweet. Delighted with the flavor, I enthusiastically atethe rest.

He smiled. "How's the taste?"

I nodded and commented honestly, "Quite good."novelbin

He smiled faintly and continued to remove the shell. He said in a gentle voice, "Eat slowly. I'llremove the shells for you!"

It was as if there was no one else at the table with us.

However, judging from Hendrix's expression, it seems like he knew that the third party was Irvin, which would explain why he had followed me ton dinner.

Suddenly, I felt a fierce gaze on me. I looked up and saw Andrea staring at me with a pair ofbeautiful dark eyes. She looked like she wanted to eat me alive.

I raised my eyebrows. Was she still in love with Hendrix? She couldn't stand us being sweet to eachother? I gave her a faint smile and tilted my head to look at Hendrix. Then I said gently, "I wantmore!"

Hendrix obligingly stuffed shrimp into my mouth with a faint smile, "Eat slowly."

I nodded and looked back at Andrea in an outright challenge. I knew that I was shamelesslyshowing

off.

She was so angry that her face turned red.

"Mr. and Mrs. Roberts are so in love it makes people envious!" Sebastian said. He probably felt thatthe atmosphere was a little awkward and said something to ease the tension.

Irvin squinted at us and said with a smile, "There are too many insincere couples. I hope that Mr.Roberts is true to our Arianna!"

The familiar way he said my name betrayed a hint of affection. Sebastian asked in surprise, "DoesMr. Granger and Mrs. Roberts know each other?"

"We've known each other for a long time!" Irvin looked at me softly and said, "She's cold andimpatient and has been ignoring me since our last fight. I've been thinking about her since then!"

Irvin was obviously provoking me. I stared at him, wide-eyed. When did I ever do the things he saidI did?

When Sebastian heard this, he felt a little embarrassed. He could not help but ask, "My apologies, are you very close friends?"

"Well, more than a friend. Don't you think so, Arianna?" Irvin looked at me and said mockingly, hiseyes full of arrogance.

I frowned, but I didn't say anything.

Hendrix had no such qualms. "In his position in taking care of my uncle-in-law, Mr. Granger and mywife are indeed closer than friends. However, my aunt has already left the Granger Group. So theyhave no relationship at present. Mr. Granger, you should think about what you say in the future. After all, my wife's reputation is important."
