Chapter 1135

When Hendrix and Andrea finally returned, they were in a good mood. Both of them had somethingin their hands. Seeing that I was staring at nothing absent- mindedly, Hendrix handed his to me andsaid, "Try it!"

I had never been interested in sweet things like cotton candy, I just took a tiny bite and saidcasually, "It's too sweet. It's getting late. We should go back."

Without waiting for them to agree or disagree, I headed straight for the hotel. I had nothing to sayalong the way.

When we returned to the hotel, it was almost dusk. I took a room card from the receptionist andhanded it to Hendrix. Because I was tired and sleepy, I didn't want to talk. I said, "Naomi's stayingwith me, this is your room key!"

After giving him the room key, I went straight into the elevator and prepared to go back to my room.

As soon as I opened the door, a black shadow entered the room behind me before I could close thedoor. Hendrix turned on the light and glanced around. When he saw no one, his black eyes fell onme. "Do you want me out because we've walked too far and you're tired?"

I frowned. "Don't read too much into it. I used to having Naomi stay with me. I didn't expect that shewouldn't do so tonight."novelbin

I was not in the mood to talk about any more useless things with him, so I left hims there to changemy clothes and wash up for bed. He closed the door and hugged me from behind. His chin fell onmy shoulder and he said, "Are you angry?"

I shook my head. "No, I'm just too tired." I was too tired to even be angry.

He sat on the bed and held my waist while guiding me to sit on his lap. "Is this better?"

I was sure of myself. I leaned lightly on his shoulder and sighed, "Hendrix, today you aredisqualified as a husband."

I didn't want to fight, but if I held back the grievances in my heart, I wouldn't feel good, so I spoke.

He clung to me tighter and said in a low voice, "What do you mean?"

I leaned on his shoulder and felt a little tired. "You shouldn't have left me at the square alone. Andfor such a long time."

I could understand how he had doted on Andrea. After all, there were things that could not beforgotten in one or two days. But he and Andrea were so close while I still had so muchunspeakable feelings bottled up tightly in my heart.

He pressed his forehead slightly to mine and hugged me with a faint smile. "Weren't you tired justnow? I told you to rest in the square, and I arranged for the bodyguards to stay with you."

I didn't say anything more to get him to see things from my view. I stood up and said, "It's gettinglate. Let's hurry and wash up, then get some rest!"

I couldn't continue on. If I continued to talk about it, I would look like I'm making a huge fuss fornothing

He grabbed my wrist to stop me and we looked at each other. Then, he asked, "Are you jealous?"

I shrugged and said indifferently, "You said to view her as a sister. What's there to be jealousabout?"

His smile widened slightly, and he held me in his arms. "I will pay more attention in the future to putyou first at all times. I promise you that I will be a qualified husband, okay?"

My mouth twitched, and I held back the involuntary smile. "That's your choice, it has nothing to dowith me. I don't control you. I just wanted to remind you."

He grinned and not letting me out from his embrace, his warm lips came down on mine lightly.Looking at his dark eyes, I had a feeling where this was headed and grumbled, "Hendrix, it's gettinglate. I want to rest."

He raised his eyebrows. "It doesn't matter. I'll take care of things!"

It took me a second to realize what he meant by "I'll take care of things".
