Chapter 1101

I stood by the bed, and smiled lightly, saying, "So, are you going to chase me out then?"

Naomi suddenly straightened up and looked at me as she said in surprise, "Hendrix actually allowedyou to come over?"

I smiled and sat down beside her, "I would love to be with you more tonight!"

"Ah..." She jumped up in excitement as she said, "Arianna, you're such a great person! I just knowthat you're the best person in the world!"novelbin

I flicked her forehead and said, "How can you say that when we've only been together a short while.Hurry up and take a bath, we should go to bed earlier!"

She squinted her eyes and said slyly, "Let's take a bath together!"

I chuckled in amusement as I pushed her into the bathroom.

After bathing, she lay on the bed while hugging me, staring at the ceiling in a daze.

I knew that she had something on her mind, so I asked, "Are you thinking about Sebastian?"

She turned over to look at me and said, "Of course not. He's not all I think about."

"What is it, then?"

She paused for a second and sighed, "Aren't you curious about the reason why I was brought overto Myanway?"

I was slightly stunned. Indeed, although the Attwood family was not of high ranking in Asherton,Master Attwood still had some status. His granddaughter would still be well protected. However, why had Naomi been taken to Myanway, almost losing her life there?

"I had no idea how my parents died. Grandpa told me that they passed away in a car accident. Atthe time, I was only two months old. If it weren't for me, Grandpa would have killed himself!" Naomisaid, emotionless.

I didn't know how to comfort others, but I could listen quietly.

She leaned on me and said, "Grandpa and I both depended on each other. The Attwood familydoesn't lack money. Daddy had a lot of money left from his business. Grandpa knew how to invest,so I was never short of money. He loves me very much, but I just want to be normal, to have afather and a mother."

She looked at me and said, "Arianna, I know that you can understand this feeling."

I nodded. When I was in Hovell, I envied Monique Caulfield very much. Her parents treated herreally well. I used to think about what it would be like if I found my biological parents one day, butlater on, I found that things didn't turn out to be as nice as I imagined.

After a moment of silence, she continued, "I told you before that I don't have many friends. Sinceyoung, people either just wanted me to buy things for them or wanted to use me. Although I knewthat, I still stayed with them because I was really afraid of being lonely."

Most girls seemed to be afraid of being lonely.

Looking at her, I had no idea what to say, so I just hugged her and said, "Everything will be fine!"

"Before I went to Myanway, I met a girl. We felt like we were close right off the bat, and she wasextremely kind to me. At that time, I regarded her as my best friend, but I didn't expect that shewould deceive me in the end. However, it was a blessing in disguise that I finally met you after that."

She said in a casual manner, "Arianna, did you know? I was really touched when you gave me thebracelet just now. It was the first time in my life that I received a gift so sincere."

"I've been thinking whether our meeting was a result of all the luck I've accumulated over the past20 years."
