I took some shaving foam and applied it around his chin. He was too tall, and it was too tiring for meto keep standing on my toes, so I asked him to sit down on a chair. I proceeded to sit on his leg andlowered my head to shave his beard carefully.
"Things aren't as exaggerated as you put it. None of us expected the Milton Group to take over theRoberts Group's project. Besides, he just asked for your thoughts on it. It's not really gatheringinformation per se."
He hummed in assent. I was helping him to shave his beard, so it was inconvenient for him tospeak. He just looked at me with gentle eyes. It could be seen that he was in a good mood.

I pursed my lips and was stunned for a moment. My cheeks flushed uncontrollably pink. I was onlywearing a singlet since I had just gotten out of the shower, and my lower half was bare.
I had been fully paying attention to helping him shave, and that was why I naturally failed to realizehow forward it had been for me to sit on his lap. The moment he grabbed my waist, the wholesituation seemed to become even more awkward.

I put the shaver down as I looked at him and said, "Hendrix, shouldn't you wash up and get ready tosleep? I haven't been sleeping well for the past two days. I'm a little tired now!"
