Chapter 1032

It was somewhat awkward for me, but fortunately, Rainie engaged me in conversation, which wasnot so bad.

"When I was in college, my friends and I liked to camp and climb the mountains. Just rememberingthose old days makes the scenery in front of us look even more magnificent!" Rainie sighed, "In theblink of an eye, more than ten years have passed!"

"Yes, time flies so fast that I'm almost thirty years old!" Naomi groaned and said, "I still feel like achild. How have I already reached this childbearing age?"

Looking at the vast stars, I took a deep breath and said, "Don't sigh all the time. We humans go toschool when it's time to go to school, get married when it's time to get married, give birth when it'stime to give birth. Our ancestors have lived for so many years, and they have also live the same life. It's not that they have never thought about their freedom, it's just that maybe they had tried to obtainthis so-called freedom that we have been yearning for, and the final result may be worse thangetting married and having children."

Naomi nodded and looked at Dahlia. "Dahlia, aren't you studying Buddhism? What do the Buddhiststhink about the lives of all living beings?"

Dahlia pressed her lips together and stared at the sky for a moment. She said, "Life and death ofhuman beings are determined by fate, but in the end, they are reincarnated in a sea of sufferings.""What are you babbling about!" Naomi muttered, curled her lips and looked at Sebastian. Suddenly, she smiled and asked, "Mr. Milton, do you have any laments?"

"No!" Sebastian said, looking at the starry sky.

"Ouch!" Rowane stood up all of a sudden. She clutched her stomach and said with a painedexpression, "I have a stomachache!"novelbin

Hendrix frowned and asked, "What's wrong?"

"I don't know. It hurt out of the blue. I must have eaten something wrong. Excuse me... I need thetoilet!" She clutched her stomach and excused herself.

Watching her running towards the end of the prairie, everyone couldn't hold back their laughter. Thisprairie was very spacious, and there was no place to hide oneself. One would have to run a littlefurther in order to find a place to hide.

After all, we were here to camp, so we didn't think too much about it.

Naomi held back her laughter and approached me. "I can guarantee that she won't be able to seethe stars tonight."

"What did you do?" Seeing her mysterious face, I became suspicious.

She smiled sneakily, "It's all because she doesn't know anything but pretended to be high andmighty. I'm so angry that I can't find a place to vent my anger. I am so frustrated!"

Looking at her sly face, I could guess what she did. So I asked her, "What did you feed her?"

She just shrugged and said, "I put some chocolate in the milk she drank just now."

I didn't understand, "Milk and chocolate will make a person experience diarrhea?"

She nodded. "Yes, but don't worry. It's just diarrhea, she won't die."

Fine by me!

"Look, there's a comet!" Some people cried out in joy. Instantly, everybody gazed at the sky.

Sure enough, several comets streaked across the starry sky.

"Stop daydreaming and quickly make a wish!" Naomi closed her eyes, clasped her hands together, and earnestly made a wish.

I smiled and subconsciously looked in Hendrix's direction. Our eyes met, and I blinked inastonishment.

I had never thought that he would look at me during this magical time. His dark black eyes containsome brightness, tainted with a little bit of coldness and arrogance.

Just for a moment, I looked away and closed my eyes to make a wish as Naomi did. Actually, I wasnot making a wish but avoiding Hendrix gaze. Being watched by Hendrix makes me in a total mess.
