Tianye’s anger boiled up when he heard Kerry just called his mother ‘mom’. He said angrily: “They aremy parents! Not yours. Don’t call her ‘mom’ again!”

Kerry laughed. “I kowtowed to them and called them mom and dad. They didn’t object.”
