Celena was so excited that she immediately sat up in bed, which startled Liam. He gently pressedher back onto the bed and said, “Be careful. You don’t want to accidentally tear your stitches. If youdo, you won’t be able to go to the party tomorrow.”
Celena finally calmed down and hugged the invitation like it was the most priceless gift she hadever gotten.
She had been banished from her family for seven years now, and there was never a day when shedid not miss them. This was why she was so touched to receive an invitation to her belovedgrandfather’s birthday party.
Liam sighed. Celena still-loved her family with her whole heartedly, even after how they treated her.What a kind woman!
All of a sudden, Celena sat up once more and hugged Liam.

invitation?”

Celena’s face flushed an even deeper shade of scarlet.
Liam could also feel his face getting hot, but his skin was so tan that no one could tell he wasblushing.
“You…you…” Celena finally stopped struggling against him. She tried to say something in protest,but she could not even form a full

She had never dated anyone before Liam. Although they had a child together, they would still getshy around each other, and Liam’s frequent teasing would always cause Celena to blush.
Liam gently stroked her hair and smiled. “Alright. I’ll stop messing with you. Cheryl was the one whohad sent this invitation over!”
“Cheryl? My sister Cheryl?” Celena was a bit disappointed, but ev more so, surprised and puzzled.
Cheryl had hated her guts since the moment she was born, and sh had even embarrassed Celenawhen she went to plead for mercy. Why would she send over an invitation to their grandfather’sbirthday party out of nowhere?
“Why did she send this over?” Celena finally asked.
