Chapter 47

The blood spilled floors made Morgan lose his mind completely. With a thud, he bowed down beforeLiam and began begging for mercy. profusely.

“Liam! No… Mr. Cole, I was wrong! This is all my fault. My son was so foolish! He got what hedeserved, and he’s dead! I beg you for your mercy to please let me live! Please spare the Walkers.”

Morgan kneeled down so hard that his knees were starting to bleed.

The rest of the Walkers started to panic. Morgan was the head and the pillar of the Walker family, yet he was kneeling and begging like a dog toward the powerful man before him.

If the pillar had collapsed; the others would give in too. In an instant, all of them were on theirknees, begging for mercy! The sound of their pleas echoed throughout the whole Walker Mansion.

Liam strode forward and stepped on Morgan’s back. The force caused Morgan to lie flat on the floorand spat out a mouthful of

blood.

Liam looked down at Morgan. He was in such a mess that Liam felt satisfied. Then, Liam took adagger from his pocket and threw it before Morgan. He said coldly, “I’ll give you two options. Thefirst option is that you kill yourself, and the Walkers will vanish from here on out! The second optionis that I’ll kill you, and the Walkers will still

vanish!”

Suddenly, a woman rushed out of the mansion and approached Morgan, who was still lying on thefloor.

She was once Liam’s childhood friend and fiance. She was also the

woman who had dealt the heaviest blow to Liam.

Clora had a conflicted gaze as he looked at Liam, who was in his battle robe. He was once a manshe had set up on her own wedding and the loser whom she looked down upon. At that moment, however, he was stronger than ever!

“L-Liam… he is my father. Could you please spare him for my sake?” Clora looked at Liam’shandsome face and asked with a complicated feeling.

She thought that Liam was only so heartless toward the Walkers because of a hatred that stemmedfrom loving her too much. She also thought if she were to ask him personally, he would definitelycall it a day.

However, Liam smirked as he looked at the false front Clora was putting on. With a scornful gaze,he said, “For your sake? Who do you think you are?”

Clora’s cheeks flushed as she did not get the answer she was

expecting. She looked at Liam in disbelief and said in shock, “Liam, I’m

Clora!”

Liam rolled up his long sleeve, bent over, and grabbed Clora’s chin while inching in slowly.

Clora saw that Liam was closing in slowly and thought that he

wanted to kiss her. She could not help but close her eyes and clutch her dress tightly with both herhands. Her heart was pounding.

The predicted kiss did not happen. Liam’s icy ridicule rang in her ears instead. “What? Do you thinkI will kiss you? Who the fuck do you think you are?”

Upon saying that, he suddenly gripped her chin tighter and pushed her
