The man on the other end of the call hung up after shouting at Landon.
Landon put his phone away with shivering hands with a troubled look. His gaze filled withuneasiness and fear.
He looked toward the lieutenant colonel at the side and decided to bite the bullet. "Colonel, I'msorry! Our founder said to not agree with your terms. Also, he asked me to inform you and KingPendragon that this is the capital. The Yacks have had a general in their family before, and heserved.
"If you're going to be so reckless, you'll have to bear the consequences of whatever happens next."
Landon finished talking in a quiver. His whole back was soaked in cold sweat and his legs wereshaking.
The Yacks had what it takes to not fear these soldiers, but Landon did not! He was terrified of them.
Besides, the lieutenant colonel who personally came to him was taking orders from KingPendragon.

Calum hung up the call and quickly contacted the other connections in the capital. They quicklyassembled and surrounded the Yack Mansion!
