Chapter 224

Samara did not avoid Celena’s gaze at all. She did not conceal the disdainful and loathsomesentiments she had for Celena either.novelbin

She calmly put her glass down, took a napkin, and slowly wiped the red wine off her delicate hands.

“Celena, you didn't think that I was truly apologizing to you and wanting to reconcile with you, didyou? Do you deserve that? Listen up, being good friends or whatever, it was all an act. I will neverbe good friends with you! I can't believe you had the guts to come with that loser, Liam. The wayyou made a fool of yourself truly amused me."

Samara finished wiping both her hands while she said that. Then, she threw the napkin at Celena’sface. She let out a mocking laugh and continued, “Celena, you've given me a good laugh!

"It was truly a shame that I didn’t get to personally witness the moment you were banished from theStone family seven years ago! I’m back now, and you have also been accepted by the Stone familyagain. How can I not come and have a look for myself just how shitty your life is?

“But I have to say, I’m relieved to see that your life is shitty now. After all, I would feel unsettled ifyou’re living a good life. A bitch like you should be living a downtrodden life like the one you'rehaving now.”

Celena listened to Samara’s harsh insults while her face was covered with a mixture of red wineand tears. The huge difference between reality and her expectations made her so upset that shewanted to let out a big cry. Her heart was aching so very badly.

Just a moment ago, she was still on cloud nine because of her rekindled friendship. However, in thenext moment, she was down in the dumps.

Samara never planned to forgive her. This so-called gathering was all just to humiliate her.

“Samara, why? Why are you doing this to me?”

They grew up together and were friends for more than a decade. Celena thought that it would behard for both of them to let go of a relationship like this. However, judging by the looks of it, thesentiment was only true for Celena.

Samara looked at Celena with resentment and sneered. She looked like a mighty queen as she saton a chair with her legs crossed and looked at Celena, who was in a sorry state.

Then, she poked fun at Celena, saying, "You're asking me why? Of course, it’s because you havealways been better than me and prettier than me. Everyone’s eyes were always on you while I wasnothing to them. I’m not the only one. All of them ended up serving as a foil to your excellencebecause of you. How was that fair?”

Samara was almost shouting by the end of her sentence. She was filled with indignation as shecontinued, “Celena, what right did you have to constantly overshadow me? Thank heavens that lifeis fair. You’re nothing more than a bitch before me now. You're no longer the high and mighty lady ofthe Stone family. It would be all too easy for us to crush you now!

“Listen up. If you properly beg us for forgiveness on your knees, then maybe I’ll consider letting yougo. If you don’t, then I can’t promise you what will happen next!”

“That’s right. Quickly kneel and apologize! Celena, you bitch! Would I have been a disappointmentto my parents back then if it wasn't for you? It was all your fault!”

“Hmph! The boy I liked for a long time in high school rejected me all because of Celena.

I was even scolded by him, who was the man of my dreams! I have never been that embarrassed inmy life. Whenever I think of that, I would desperately want to tear this bitch to pieces!”

One of the women who looked ordinary and a plump figure suddenly grabbed her wine glass andstrode over to Celena. She splashed her red wine on Celena’s face and started cursing at her.
