The man next to Cheryl smirked and asked, “My love, is this that shameless sister of yours thatyou’ve told me about? Well well.”
The man gave Celena a once-over. He had to admit that Celena was indeed a stunner; it was nowonder she was known as the most beautiful woman in Drunham City. Even though she gave birth,her figure was still as slender as ever, with curves in all the right places.
Cheryl scoffed when she saw her boyfriend leering at Celena and snapped, “What’s wrong? Are youinterested in my sister, Jacob?”
Jacob immediately turned away from Celena and snaked his arm around Cheryl’s shoulder, gazingat her tenderly. “Of course not, my love! How can I be interested in someone like her when I’ve onlygot eyes for you? Besides, you’re much more beautiful than her!”
No woman could resist being praised like this, much less Cheryl, who was undermined by Celena’sbeauty all her life. No matter what she did, Celena could do it better, and thus Cheryl always livedunder her sister’s shadow.

Cheryl stared from her towering height at her sister and snapped,” That’s enough! I can’t lay myeyes on you any longer! What a disgusting sight! Celena lifted her head shakily as blood oozed down her cheekbones.” Can I go in now, Cheryl?” thisone question took all the strength out of Celena. She was now so weak that it was as though a gustof wind could blow her away at any moment. However, the thought of helping Liam pushed herthrough. She had no other choice!
The next moment, a bucketful of bone-chillingly cold wastewater rained onto Celena withoutwarning. The water sent a twinge of excruciating pain through the bullet wound in Celena’sshoulder.
By this time, Cheryl already stepped away from Celena and was holding her nose in disgust. “Howdare you say you want to see Grandpa? Remember, you’ve been banished from the Stone family,and if anything, he’s Mr. Stone to you now!”
However, pouring dirty water onto Celena was not enough. Every
nat second spent looking at Celena’s face was like torture to Cheryl, and she st
stepped forward to give Celena a hard slap across her face. “Get out of here, you whore
I’m the rightful heiress of the Stone family! How dare you say you want to see my grandfather? Youhave nothing
do with this family anymore!”
