They were all criminals who were afraid of no one except the law enforcement people, and now thatthey were all caught red-handed, there was nothing they could do except surrender themselves!
They fell to the ground with their arms raised above them, and some of them even got onto theirknees to beg for mercy.
George tossed the megaphone to someone else, then strode toward Liam and gave him a bow. "Iapologize for giving you such a scare, Mr. Cole. My name is George Nelson, and I'm thecommissioner in charge of this precinct! I was sent here under Mr. Mosier's orders to arrest thesepeople!"

George could not help but begin to sweat nervously when he heard this, more so because he wasso intimidated by Liam. He never felt so intimidated by someone before, not even the mayorhimself!
Celena finally snapped out of her stupor and rushed over to Liam's side. "Are you okay, Liam?"
Liam smiled. He could tell how worried she was—her entire face turned pale from fear, and he triedto reassure her, "I'm fine, Celena. Look, the police are here to arrest them. We have to take them forall their hard work!"
With that, Celena turned to George and nodded in appreciation. "Hello, sir, my name is CelenaStone, and I'm the supervisor of this factory. Thank you for your service! I can't even imagine whatwould happen if you didn't show up in time!"
George smiled back at her. "All in a day's work, Miss Stone. We should apologize to you for lettingthese people wreak havoc on this area, your factory included, for so long. I'll make them pay for allthe damages they inflicted on your factory!"
Celena nodded. George's gaze fell on Liam, unsure of whether this was the cue for him to leave. Hewaited for Liam to nod before finally turning around and walking back toward his men. "Take themaway!"
With that, the police brought all the thugs into their cars and zoomed away just as fast as theyshowed up.
George finally let out a sigh of relief after the car pulled away from the factory. Jackson, who wassitting next to him, glanced at him with a puzzled look. "What's going on, Mr. Nelson? You know fullwell that the man you just captured belongs to Eaden Wafer from Willoughby, and it won't be longbefore he catches wind of this and comes after us! Also—who's the man you were talking to justnow? Why did you seem so afraid of him?"
George bellowed, "Eaden Wafer? F*ck Eaden Wafer! No one dared to lay a finger on him becausehe's one of the richest and most powerful men in Willoughby, but he's gotten himself into some deeptrouble now! He won't stand a chance against us now! We're under orders from Mr. Mosier himselfto capture him, so he can't hide for long! We have Mr. Mosier's permission to shoot him if he daresto resist arrest! You've been with me for so long, Sergeant Gould, that surely you know what thatmeans?
