Sherah almost could not contain her laughter. Celena was with Liam, so the more useless Liamwas, the happier Sherah was.
Cheryl was in stitches too. She hugged her stomach, wiped the tear at the corner of her eyes, andsaid, "Haha. That's too hilarious. What was that? Liam, you're really killing us. Reginald suddenly slammed on the table. He sneered and bellowed, "Enough! What nonsense areyou talking about? Do you think you can do as you wish now because I've let you back into thefamily? Qemal could not stop sneering. He fanned the flames and said, "Some people just don't have anyself-awareness. They thought they would have nothing to worry about after they joined the Stonefamily. He's a nobody, but he just likes to brag and insist on how impressive he is. Who does hethink we are? Does he think our family is stupid? These little tricks are just nothing but a joke to us."

Celena pulled her hand out of Liam's palm and wiped her tears. With a catch in her throat, she said,"Liam, I'm begging you. Can you stop with the lies? Can you stop doing all these…"

Celena had never felt so ashamed as she did at that moment. She had been mocked andhumiliated in the past because of Liam. However, she was still humiliated because of him after hecame back.

Liam quickly comforted Jovie and ran after her. He followed her all the way to the garden next to theliving room. Celena was crouching, crying inconsolably, with her face covered.
Liam crouched down and held Celena's hand. His heart ached when he saw her. He said, "Celena,I'm sorry. I really am. I shouldn't have ignored your feelings. It's my fault."
"Let go of me!" Celena pulled her hand out of his grip and pushed him away as hard as she could.
With a tear-stained face and a catch in her throat, Celena said with grievance, "Liam, can you stopacting like that? I thought I would never be laughed at and insulted again as long as you're back. I
thought everything would improve because of your return. But look at you. How many times has itbeen? Look at how they looked at me earlier. They were simply making a monkey out of me."
