Chapter 823

Bradley stared at the large photograph and disjointedly said, “No… Esther isn’t dead!”

Oliver stayed silent and just looked at Kevin, who motioned to his head as if to say that Bradley hadgone insane.

Insane? Oliver snorted. Esther, the victim, hadn’t gone insane! How could Bradley, the perpetrator, beallowed to escape like this?

“I’m giving you 24 hours. After that, the Warner Group won’t need to exist in this world.”

Oliver’s motivation wasn’t mercy for Bradley. It was primarily for the tens of thousands of employees atthe Warner Group. If the company went bankrupt, their families would suffer. The best way to minimizethe impact on regular employees was a direct share transfer, ensuring a smooth transition of theWarner Group to Felix’s name.

Although Felix was still too young to take over the Warner Group, Oliver was determined not to let itbecome Bradley’s weapon.

Bradley gazed at Esther’s picture and suddenly chuckled. He looked at Oliver’s determined face, andhis eyes took on a sinister gleam.

“You want the Warner Group? Fine, I’ll give it to you. Give me back my son!”

Oliver sneered and walked away decisively.

Kevin sat in a chair, observing Bradley’s chiseled profile. He bent to pick up the document from thetable, mocking, “Bradley, you ruthlessly targeted Esther time and time again, all because you have theWarner Group.

“But now, the Warner Group is no more!”

Kevin pulled out his phone and showed the worth of the Warner Group’s stocks. “See it?”

Kevin only showed Bradley a glimpse of Warner Group’s stock and stood up. “Esther is gone, andyou’re only pretending to be deeply devoted now. If the Warner Group goes bankrupt, what will you dothen?”

Bradley grabbed a bottle of red wine and hurled it at Kevin. The wine bottle flew through the air andviolently collided with the marble wall, sending shards of glass and red wine into the air.

The room filled with the strong aroma of red wine. A glass shard grazed Kevin’s face, causing a slightsting. He gently wiped the blood away from his face and then laughed out loud.

“Bradley, are you angry?” Kevin looked at the blood on his fingertips, chuckling. “What’s there to beangry about? You look at this photograph every day, and you think Esther will come back to life? Whenyou see this photo, doesn’t your mind ever recall the despicable things you did to her?”

Kevin kicked the broken wine bottle at his feet and walked over to Bradley. Together, they looked at thephotograph in front of them.novelbin

“When you see this familiar yet foreign face, do you have nightmares?”

Kevin finished speaking and turned to leave. He didn’t know if Bradley would have nightmares, but heknew he would.

Ever since he had witnessed Esther’s car plunge off the cliff, he had been having nightmares everyday. In these nightmares, he would see Esther imprisoned by Bradley inside a transparent crystalcoffin.

He repeatedly tried to rescue her but failed every time, even though Esther reassured him in thedreams that she didn’t blame him.

Nevertheless, Kevin couldn’t forgive himself. Each time he stabbed a knife into Bradley’s heart, he wasdoing the same to himself. He needed to keep reminding Bradley that he had caused Esther’s death.
