Jasper walked mechanically, got to the burned body, and knelt heavily. He reached out his hand, but assoon as his finger brushed the body, he pulled back like it shocked him.

“Which of them would lock up their wives like you did? You falsely accused her and sent her to prisonfor five years!
“She spent the best five years of her life in prison! Did you know she had one boy and two girls there?When you used her kids against her, did you see her as your wife?
