Chapter 787

Kevin witnessed the black off-road vehicle plunging off the cliff right before his eyes. His legs gave wayin horror.

“Bradley!”

Bradley glared at Kevin and snapped, “Shut up!”

He swiftly unfastened his seatbelt, opened the car door, and dropped to his knees as his legs gaveway.

Kevin took a deep breath, cautiously approached Bradley, and extended his hand. “Bradley—”

Bradley brushed off Kevin’s hand, steadied himself against the car, and slowly stood up. They bothheaded toward the cliff’s edge. Just as they neared it, a strong gasoline smell filled the air.

“Oh no! The car is leaking gasoline!”

Kevin called 911 without delay. “Hello? There’s been a car accident on Coastal Highway 9—”

Before Kevin could finish his sentence, flames flickered before his eyes.

Accompanied by a deafening roar, a fiery blaze illuminated the pitch-black night. The fire was toointense for Kevin to approach.

“Bradley… Bradley…”

Kevin looked at Bradley in distress and muttered, “Esther’s still inside the car!”

Bradley pulled out his phone, maintaining an unprecedented composure amidst the chaos. “There’s anaccident on Coastal Highway 9. The car fell off the cliff and exploded. There’s a person inside the car. Please send rescue and an ambulance immediately.”

Bradley hung up and rushed to the car’s trunk to grab a fire extinguisher.

Seeing Bradley attempting to use a small fire extinguisher, Kevin shouted, “Are you crazy?!”

“Kevin, we’ll settle our scores later.”novelbin

It couldn’t be! Esther couldn’t possibly be in danger. The cliff was so high Bradley couldn’t jump directlydown.

They could only see the raging fire below.

“Bradley, what kind of score do you want to settle with me? Do you really think I caused this fire?”Kevin pointed angrily at Bradley’s car. “If you didn’t run your car into Esther, would she have panickedand caused the accident?”

“Kevin!” Bradley grabbed Kevin’s collar and punched his chin. “If you hadn’t sneaked into my home andtaken Esther away…”

Kevin straightened his back, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and sarcastically retorted,“Bradley, are you out of your mind? Have you considered how I discovered the secret room? You hidyour ex-wife, who has an independent legal capacity, in your secret room. Do you think that’s a goodthing? Did you ask if she wanted to be imprisoned?”

Kevin pointed at the blazing fire and said, “Haven’t you realized that Esther would rather fall off the cliffand die than be caught by you again?

“If you truly believe that blaming everything on me will make you feel better, you can do that.

“But I’ll tell you this. Even if Esther is dead, she died free.

“If her soul is watching us, she will applaud my words.

“As for you, Bradley, you’re the one who killed Esther!”
