Chapter 773

Mandy closed her eyes and stopped resisting.

But Bradley let go of her neck and said coldly, “If you claim it wasn’t you, I’ll believe you, for now.”

Mandy managed a faint smile while her hand rested on her neck. She wondered how Esther enduredthis unbearable strangling. Did she even want to survive this with Bradley?

Did Esther still love Bradley? That would be truly masochistic!novelbin

“Thank you, Bradley.”

Bradley looked at Mandy without makeup and said, “I’m entrusting Esther to your care.”

Mandy hesitated, torn between rejecting and accepting. Finally, she spoke with determination. “I’llhandle the responsibilities you’ve given me well.”

Bradley huffed and cautioned, “If you dare to help Esther escape, you’ll face the consequences.”

Mandy watched Bradley walk away and couldn’t help but clench her fist in frustration. Did she owe himmoney? Why was he treating her like that? Even people working long hours got paid! What did sheget?

Early the next morning, Mandy diligently carried out the tasks Bradley assigned. She preparedbreakfast for Esther and arrived at Bradley’s bedroom with it. However, Esther was nowhere to befound.

Confused, Mandy watched as Bradley opened the door to a secret room after emerging from thebathroom.

When Mandy saw the crystal coffin, she was shocked.

Did Bradley have some peculiar fetish? Why was he fond of putting a living person in a crystal coffin?

If he wanted to play a captivity game, shouldn’t he have built an ornate birdcage instead? Was hefilming horror scenes by locking someone in a crystal coffin?

“Put it down, and you can leave,” he instructed.

Mandy placed the breakfast on the table and hurried out of the room as if pursued by ghosts.

Bradley first checked the breakfast for potential allergens for Esther, ensuring it was safe. He thenturned to Esther in the crystal coffin. “I’m going to pick up Felix to keep you company.”

Esther’s eyes twitched, but she remained motionless.

Bradley coldly closed the door to the secret room and departed.

He had breakfast, then drove to the hospital to meet Clark’s family. Clark had been working at theWarners for years, hardly seeing his family. Bradley wanted to express his gratitude and condolencesto them.

Unexpectedly, when Bradley arrived at Clark’s hospital room, he found it empty.

As Bradley observed the vacant room, he stopped a passing nurse and asked, “Where’s the patient?Where did he go?”

“Mr. Warner, Mr. Jameson has been discharged.”

Bradley swiftly strode to Kevin’s office and kicked the door open.

Kevin was in the middle of a video conference with other experts. When he saw Bradley at the door, hegestured for the others to continue. He muted his microphone and turned off the camera. FacingBradley’s anger, he calmly asked, “What can I help you with?”

“Where is Clark?”

“Clark’s wife and children are abroad, so he was naturally moved there,” Kevin explained.

“Why wasn’t I informed beforehand?” Bradley’s deep eyes bore into Kevin as if interrogating him.

Kevin explained, “Bradley, you hadn’t asked about Clark previously.”
