Chapter 768

“No,” Bradley said coldly as he walked away. “Starting today, inform the kitchen to prepare an extraserving of food.”

Mandy gasped and nervously asked, her lips trembling, “Bradley, you didn’t really… Esther…”

Bradley remained silent and walked away.

Mandy turned and opened the refrigerator, pouring herself a glass of fine wine she fetched from thecellar. She lamented her past foolishness as Liliane. Why had she acted like a virtuous woman in frontof Bradley? A man like Bradley didn’t deserve that!

Mandy took a sip, thinking she might as well head to the home theater to sing since she couldn’t sleepanyway.

She had initially considered seeking revenge against Esther, but now, she didn’t need to lift a finger.

Bradley had already tormented Esther to the point of despair. She wondered how the late Thomaswould feel, watching his beloved great-grandson lose his ability to speak and his approvedgranddaughter-in-law being imprisoned by Bradley. She was sure he would be furious.

Mandy sang her heart out in the home theater.

She considered herself merciful. Although she had prepared allergens for Esther, the amount wasn’tlethal. It was just that torture was inevitable.

She devilishly smiled, thinking that her reason for not including a lethal dose wasn’t rooted in truekindness. She just wanted Esther to live and endure Bradley’s torment. The torment from the man sheloved would gradually shatter her mind until she felt life was no longer worth living.

Mandy sipped her red wine and sang while Bradley returned to his bedroom with the snacks. He didn’tgo directly into the secret chamber but began some work at his desk.

Upon seeing a message from Jolene, he smirked and placed his phone aside.

“How is it?” Jasper couldn’t wait and asked with great concern when he saw Jolene sending the text.

Jolene pushed her phone screen before Jasper, her voice trembling. “Mr. Warner blocked me.”

Bradley’s action was just as Jasper had anticipated.

Taking a deep breath, Jasper stared at Jolene’s seemingly innocent face and scornfully asked, “Thinkabout it, Jolene. Who else in this world would risk their safety to save you?

“If it weren’t for you deceiving Esther, she would have left this place tomorrow morning and started anew life in a foreign country.

“She’s fought so hard to escape this hell, and instead of lending her a helping hand, you shoved herright back into that inescapable abyss!

“Jolene, one doesn’t need to have blood on their hands to be a murderer!

“You’re also committing murder because you’ve strangled Esther’s hope for life.”

After Jasper finished speaking, he sat aside and took out his phone, intending to call Bradley. However,he hung up silently. He worried that his tone would enrage Bradley, so he began typing on his phone.

Jasper: [Bradley, Esther is afraid of the dark and confined spaces. She used to be locked in stairwellsby Leah quite often.]

Jasper: [She’s not a picky eater, but she’s allergic to certain foods, like starfruit, hazelnuts…]

Jasper: [Bradley, I beg you, please don’t harm Esther! Please don’t extinguish her last bit of hope forthis world.]

Jasper: [Felix still doesn’t know that his mother has gone missing. No one knows how to explain it tohim. If you can…]novelbin
