Chapter 764

“Esther’s father, just like yours, was a DEA agent. She wanted to help you,” Jasper mentioned, catching Jolene’s attention.

Jolene’s voice turned hoarse as she muttered, “Her father was also…”

Jasper scoffed. “Why else would she bother about you? Do you think she’s got nothing better to do?Maybe you’ve spent too much time with that scumbag Chadwick to the point where you’ve lost allsense of normal human emotions!”

Jolene hesitated and explained, “Mr. Warner took her away.”

Jasper’s restraint snapped, and he slapped Jolene. “I’ve always thought that men who hit women arescumbags. But you’re not a woman—you’re a b*tch!

“Do you not know Esther’s relationship with Bradley? And you sent Esther to him?! Your actions are nodifferent from murdering her with your own hands!”

Jolene held her slapped cheek, trying to explain herself, “Mr. Warner said he could help me getrevenge.”

“Your revenge is something you should handle yourself. Why involve Esther’s life in it?” Jasper barked.

He kicked a chair in frustration, pointed his finger at Jolene, and said after a pause, “You better praythat nothing happens to Esther. Otherwise, I won’t spare you.”

Jasper left the motel room while calling Kevin.

“Kevin, Jolene got in touch with Bradley, and Esther’s missing!”

Under Mandy’s management, Warner Manor had regained its vibrancy, with the service staff diligentlyperforming their duties.

When Kevin and Jasper arrived at Warner Manor, they found Bradley sipping red wine in the livingroom.

“Bradley, where is Esther?” Kevin demanded.

Bradley swirled his wine glass, replying nonchalantly, “Esther and I have divorced. Her whereaboutsare not my concern.”

Kevin took a deep breath, and his voice turned icy. “Jolene claims you took Esther.”

“Kevin, if you have no evidence, you’re making baseless accusations,” Bradley replied. His handsomeface sported a mocking expression as he watched the wine flow down the crystal glass.novelbin

“Bradley, Esther is in a dire state. If you did take her, I implore you to release her.” Kevin’s templesthrobbed with pain. He believed Jolene, but Bradley refused to admit it, and they lacked the authority tosearch the residence. “Unless you want to see Esther die before your eyes!”

Bradley gently placed his glass on the table. “If you insist on believing Esther is here, you’re welcometo search now. If you find her, take her with you. But if you can’t…”

Kevin wanted to say more, but Jasper pulled him aside, his tone cold. “Kevin, let’s go!”

Kevin protested, “But—”

Jasper sneered. “Warner is allowing you to search. Do you really think you’ll find her? Let’s go! We’recalling the police.”

“Fine.” Kevin took a few steps, turned to face Bradley, who sat arrogantly on the sofa, and warned,“Bradley, you’ll regret this.”

Once Kevin and Jasper left, Mandy, in her nightgown, approached Bradley.

“Bradley, do you genuinely not know where Esther is?” she asked.

Bradley slowly stood up and looked down at Mandy. “Don’t ask what you shouldn’t.”

He went to his bedroom, extracted a book from the third row of the bookshelf, and opened thebookshelf like a door. He entered leisurely and approached the crystal coffin that resembled an artpiece, gazing at Esther, who was fast asleep.

‘Esther! This time, no one can take you away from me!’ he thought.
