Chapter 753

Esther savored the tasty, nourishing soup while observing the children happily chatting. It brought her asudden sense of inner peace. Surviving a car accident with only minor injuries made her feel incrediblyfortunate.

After finishing her soup, she took a shower and changed her clothes. The presence of the children filledthe house with lively chatter, uplifting the atmosphere.

Esther’s mood improved gradually in this cheerful ambiance. She decided to call Gabriel and dialed hisnumber.

“Grandpa Gabriel, where are you now? Are you okay?” she asked.

Gabriel responded cheerfully. “Esther, I’m perfectly fine. Just take care of yourself and the children.”

“Grandpa Gabriel, are you alright?”

“No worries, I’m an old man. If there were any issues, I’d look for Agatha. Don’t think too much. Takegood care of the kids!” he said,

“Please take care of yourself too.”

“I know, you too.”

Gabriel hung up and looked at the card in his hand. He wondered who this “X” was targeting. What if itwere him? If that were the case, Esther would be innocent in this disaster. Her true identity remainedundisclosed for her safety. He believed that distancing himself from her was in her best interest.

Gabriel examined the card and contemplated the information he had gathered about the truck driver. The driver had not accepted any payment, and there was no evidence of payments to his relatives, friends, or family.

Was it really just a coincidence? Gabriel couldn’t believe it was.

He noticed the distinct writing style that set the “X” apart from other fonts. What did it imply? The poppyflowers on the card hinted at an identity.

Gabriel turned to look out of the car window, a sense of melancholy washing over him. Who was thismysterious person, and where were they hiding?novelbin

One day, he would find out.

Meanwhile, Bradley returned to Warner Manor by car.

Mandy had started taking care of the estate, and it had undergone many improvements. The gardenwas meticulously pruned, and the fountain was once again full of life.

Mandy welcomed him and studied his appearance. “Bradley, you don’t look too well. Did somethinghappen?”

Bradley didn’t spare her a glance and walked past her.

‘Jerk! Are you deaf?’ she wondered.

Bradley climbed a few steps and suddenly stopped. “Mandy, how would you feel about becoming thebutler?”

Mandy was taken aback, thinking, ‘Butler? Is he joking?!’

“Bradley, aren’t I your fiancee?” she asked.

Bradley raised an eyebrow with a faint smile. “Yes, you’re my fiancée.”

Mandy sighed inwardly in relief.
