Chapter 741

Mandy cursed inwardly, ‘What a jerk!’

Was she going to be stranded on the island? It was empty, and their supplies were dwindling. Wouldshe starve if she stayed?

“Huh, didn’t you arrange for someone to pick me up?” Mandy asked, surprised.

Bradley looked at her coldly and replied, “Find a hotel yourself.”

“Bradley, I don’t have any money,” Mandy said frankly. “Could you lend me some?”

She and Liora only had a few boxes of luxury items left to sell secondhand, but she refused to part withthem. Some things were for keeping, while others were for spending.

Bradley gave Mandy a long, disdainful look. “Keep up.”

Mandy followed Bradley, carrying her bag, and they both got into the car. Coincidentally, a paparazzosnapped a few photos of them.

Bradley noticed the paparazzo and got out of the car, striding over to the man.

“Give me that!”

The paparazzo saw Bradley’s stern expression and realized he was in trouble.

What terrible luck! He had hoped to break a big story today, but now…

“Mr. Warner, I don’t understand what you’re talking about.” The paparazzo pretended to be ignorantand gestured to his colleagues behind him with a hand on his back.

Bradley’s tone turned sinister and cold. “Give me the camera!”

The paparazzo hesitated before reluctantly handing over the camera and asking politely, “Mr. Warner, Ijust took some photos. Is that illegal?”

Taking the camera, Bradley casually browsed the photos. Then, he loosened his grip, and theexpensive camera fell to the ground.

The paparazzo looked at his beloved camera being tossed and exclaimed, “Mr. Warner!”

Bradley leered at him. “That’s the price of taking sneaky photos!”

The paparazzo picked up his camera and claimed, “You’re intentionally damaging someone else’sproperty!”

Bradley sneered. “It’s just a camera… I can afford to pay for it.”novelbin

He pulled out his checkbook and wrote a check right in front of the paparazzo. He handed it to him, making the paparazzo clench his fists in anger as he watched Bradley leave.

Bradley drove Mandy back to Warner Manor.

Without Clark, Warner Manor had become like a headless dragon. The service staff lacked Clark’smanagement and organizational skills, so the once magnificent residence had turned into a lifelesstomb.

The service staff no longer maintained the estate as professionally as before, and the exquisitegardens had become overgrown and wild. Moss had taken over the fountain pool in the garden.

Mandy stood in the garden, her eyebrows slightly furrowed, with a hint of doubt in her eyes. What hadhappened during her absence?

“Mr. Warner.”

As soon as Bradley appeared, the service staff who had been idling inside rushed out.

“Mr. Warner.”

Bradley glanced at them indifferently, and the service staff trembled in fear.

They hadn’t expected his return at this time. With both Clark and Bradley away, they had been left totheir own devices, doing as they pleased.

“Mandy, I don’t tolerate idleness here,” Bradley stated.
