Chapter 611

Kevin was not an expert in liver diseases, but he felt great relief when he saw a medical case labeled“Mandy Pendleton” heading into the operating room. Doctors were removing Bradley’s dying liver totransplant Mandy’s healthy one into him.novelbin

Now that the liver transplant was successfully completed, Bradley would recover as long as there wereno rejection issues with Mandy’s liver.

Kevin didn’t continue watching the surgery. He trusted the hospital’s medical expertise. With a pleasedexpression, he left the operating room and shared the good news with Jasper, who had been waitingoutside.

“Jasper, Bradley’s surgery was a success!”

Jasper didn’t share the same joy when he heard Kevin’s words. Instead, he anxiously asked, “Kevin, given Esther’s current health, her liver donation-”

“How could she donate her liver? Is she crazy?” Kevin snarled, cutting off Jasper.

“It’s too late. Esther is already in the operating room,” Jasper said with a pained expression. “Mandysaid if Esther didn’t donate her liver as promised, she would cancel the surgery anytime. You know…”

Kevin’s expression darkened as he growled, “Mandy truly is a Pendleton. They’re all the same…”

To prevent Kevin from saying more, Jasper volunteered. “You’ll take care of Bradley. I’ll check onEsther. She’s alone, and I’m worried.”

“Go ahead. Keep me updated.”

“Okay.”

Jasper quickly left and headed to Esther’s operating room at Maria Hospital.

“Excuse me, I’d like to know about Esther Quill’s surgery…”

The nurse glanced at Jasper, looking impatient. “She’s in surgery. If you want information, please waithere.”

“Alright, thank you.”

Jasper sat down outside the operating room, staring at the “In Operation” sign. He only got up when thedoor opened.

“Esther-” When he saw Mandy’s face, he awkwardly stepped back. “Sorry, I mistook her for someoneelse.”

The unconscious Mandy was wheeled into the hospital room.

Esther was also brought out from the operating room half an hour later. Her face was pale, and herlong eyelashes cast a faint

shadow on her features.

Esther looked like Sleeping Beauty, delicate and lovely as if she awaited the prince’s kiss to awakenher.

Jasper stayed by her bedside.

The nurses were deeply moved and envious of his selfless love. Every girl dreamt of having a knight inher life who would protect, cherish, and defy the world for her.

Compared to Bradley’s mistreatment of Esther, Jasper’s silent protection made him a closer match totheir ideal Prince Charming. He possessed qualities like handsomeness, wealth, devotion, knowledge, and a prestigious family background. In every aspect, Jasper was the dream man for countless women.

Because of this, the nurses attending to Esther’s room worked diligently, hoping to catch Jasper’sattention in their ways.
