Chapter 576

Chapter 576

After Kevin read the chat, it was clear that realization had struck him.

“I knew Mr. Pendleton must have threatened Esther, or else she wouldn’t have agreed to marry him! He’s truly shameless, relying on his powerful father to act boldly and disregard the law. How cansomeone like him avoid consequences?”

Bradley glanced at the angry Kevin and spoke icily. “How much longer can I live without the surgery?”

“Bradley, wake up! You’ll die within a year if you don’t have the surgery. What will happen to Felix if youdie? Do you want him to grow up without a father?” Kevin advised.

“Find me a suitable liver within three days,” Bradley ordered.

Kevin was rendered speechless. Then he protested, “Do you think finding a liver is as easy as buying itoff the market? If liver transplant surgery were that simple… Nevermind. You wouldn’t understand evenif I explained. I think our best option now is to ask Mandy Pendleton to donate her liver!”

“Why don’t you donate yours?” Bradley scoffed.

“My liver isn’t a match. None of the hospital staff’s livers are compatible with you!” Kevin rubbed histemples and said, “I’ll continue searching for a liver for you. Spend some time with Esther. You hadmany misunderstandings. Now that they’re resolved, have a good conversation. A harmoniousrelationship is crucial for Felix’s well-being.”

Kevin thought he had endless worries as a bachelor!

What could he do? He was stuck with Bradley and Esther, this troublesome couple.

After being unconscious for a full ten hours, Esther finally woke up. The moment she opened her eyes, she saw Felix and Bradley. For a moment, she was so stunned that she dared not move.

She feared these two people before her were just a dream.

In reality, Bradley had lost his hand because of Chadwick, but in her dreams, Bradley’s hand wasintact.

“Mommy… are you awake?” Felix was the first to notice that Esther had woken up. He touched herforehead and asked with concern, “Mommy, are you in pain?”

“No.” Esther replied hoarsely, her eyes slightly red.

Felix poured her a glass of water. “Mommy, drink some water.”

Esther took the glass and sat up with some effort, taking a sip of water. Her dry throat instantly feltmuch. better.

“Felix, go outside,” Bradley ordered.

Felix pouted but didn’t dare to disobey Bradley’s command. He obediently left the hospital room. Justbefore closing the door, he told Bradley in a hushed tone, “Daddy, don’t bully Mommy!”

As the door closed, Bradley’s expression turned stolc.

His eyes gleamed with coldness. His tall figure loomed over Esther like an invisible cage.

“Esther.”

Esther instinctively responded, “Hmm?”

Bradley showed Esther her phone, his eyes filled with ruthless determination.

When Esther saw what was on the phone screen, her eyes widened, and cold beads of sweat randownnovelbin

her back. It felt as if an invisible hand was tightly gripping her throat.

She looked at Bradley with trembling lips and tears streaming down her face.

“Explain what this is,” he demanded.
