“What do you mean?” Esther looked at Chadwick in shock. “Considering your family status…”

confidential.”
“Good, very nice,” Chadwick said with a sly smile. “You already have the awareness of a Mrs.Pendleton. I applaud you.”
“Thank you for the compliment,” Esther replied with a smile that did not reach her eyes.
Chadwick wanted to threaten her into marrying him. She had agreed just to cut off any future trouble.
After parting ways with Chadwick, Esther did not return to the hospital. Instead, she met with Oliver.
