“The doctor suggested a treatment plan. If we choose conservative treatment, Jacob…” Xara paused,then hesitated, saying, “So… should we go for in vitro fertilization?”
Steffan smirked, tauntingly responding, “Xara, let’s simplify it further. Just give me your genes, and youwon’t need to worry about anything else, right?”
“What do you mean, Steffan?”
Suddenly, Xara grasped his meaning, her emotions igniting. “Are you saying you still want a physicalrelationship with me?”
