Chapter 387

Chapter 387

Felix and Sunshine looked extremely cute when they heard this and said, “We support you!”

Anna was surprised by how in sync the two children were. She chuckled helplessly and asked, Do youtwo even know what’s happening?”

“Felix’s Daddy’s a big meanie and a very bad man!” Sunshine said, placing her hands on her hips. “Youmust divorce him, Mommy!”

“Mommy, if the judge asks whether I’ll choose to stay with you or Daddy, I’m definitely choosing you!”Felix said, wiping the tears from Esther’s eyes. “It’s okay, Mommy. I’ll protect you.”

Esther held Felix and Sunshine tightly in her arms, overwhelmed by her emotions. She had been naivein the past, thinking Bradley was her entire world and that losing him would make her life meaningless. But now, she finally realized that her children meant the world to her. She couldn’t live without them, notBradley.

She knew she could fearlessly face whatever obstacle was in her way as long as her children stood byher side.

“I’m so happy! So, so, happy!” Esther muttered.

Slightly tipsy, Esther danced in the garden with Felix and Sunshine under the moon. It was a beautifulsight to behold.

Felix and Sunshine soon grew tired from all the dancing and yawned. Anna would definitely not letEsther bathe them in her drunken state, so she had the service staff do it instead.

Meanwhile, Anna brought Esther back to her bedroom. “I’ll go brew you a cup of tea to help you feelbetter.”

Esther shook her head. “No need. I want to write something while I’m drunk. I know I won’t be able towrite it while I’m sober. I’ll break down from all the pain if I do that.”

That night, she needed to properly part ways with her youth, her love life, and everything else from thepast. She wanted to put into words how she had fallen in love at first sight, how wonderful and heart-thumping her first love was, and how fearlessly brave she had been.novelbin

Bradley had destroyed not only her love life but all her fantasies about family and the future. And now, itwas time for her to wake up from her dream and face reality, the future.

“Okay, I’ll make sure nobody disturbs you,” Anna said, kindly shutting the door behind her.

Esther sat before her laptop with a blank document.

After taking a deep breath, she placed her fingers above the keyboard. To her surprise, what shethought would be a very difficult process ended up being extremely simple. All of her thoughts werebeing transformed into typed words.

Esther wrote down all of the feelings she felt when she was young in the letter. She did not use anyflamboyant words or paint a colorful picture, but words that would be true to herself.
