Chapter 360

Esther chuckled and replied, “Anna, he’s already put a hefty bounty on my head. How much longer do

“Esther, I appreciate your concern, but I can’t let you be in danger.”

After careful consideration, Anna declined Esther’s proposal. She looked at Esther, who had changedher appearance, and gently said, “We haven’t confirmed yet if there’s a real problem with the churchschool. Give me some time to investigate the adopted children there.”

“For safety reasons, I think you should formally request for Sunshine to stay here in the castle. fornow,” Esther suggested.

“Okay.”

Sunshine even mentioned that she could teach Felix about various animals and plants while Felix couldteach her more academic subjects.

“Mommy!”

“Mommy!”

Sunshine and Felix rushed over with two baskets filled with fruits.

It was normal for Felix to call Esther “Mommy.” Meanwhile, Sunshine, who had been an orphan sincechildhood, started calling Esther “Mommy”, imitating Felix.

When Anna saw Sunshine and Felix running into Esther’s arms, a fleeting mix of sadness andcontentment filled her heart. For orphans like Sunshine and Twinkle, having a mother figure had alwaysbeen their longing.

“Mommy, Sunshine and I made up,” Felix said.

Looking up with his little face, Felix eagerly shared his interactions with Sunshine with Esther.

Softly, Sunshine added, “Mommy, Felix said he’s willing to share you with me!”

“Wow… That’s wonderful news, Felix. I’m so happy you’ve learned to share!” Esther saw that Felix hadwillingly suggested sharing Esther with Sunshine, and she didn’t intervene. After all, for young children, learning to share is vital.

“Mommy, Sunshine is amazing and can do anything.” Sunshine spoke clearly and beautifully with heradorable toddler voice. She continued. “Felix is talented too, Mommy.”

Esther reached out and tightly embraced Sunshine and Felix. At that moment, she felt a sense ofcompleteness filling the void in her heart. Warmth surged through her chest, tangible and comforting.

“Hey, hey, hey! I might get jealous if you three continue like this!” Anna playfully exclaimed. Sunshinereached out and pulled Anna closer, and the four of them shared a tight group hug.

As Esther embraced Anna, she suddenly noticed a small blue flower tattooed on the back of Anna’sneck. Instantly, a sharp pang shot through Esther’s mind…
