Chapter 349

Chapter 349

Liliane’s gaze fell upon Billy’s heart. She would have missed the opportunity to receive the best heart inthe world if the mysterious man hadn’t informed her that Billy’s heart was a

match for her.

‘Perfect. Now, all I have to do is undergo the transplant, and I’ll finally be a normal woman.’

“Dad, please stay with me! If you leave too, I’ll be an orphan!” Liliane cried, shedding crocodile tearsbefore the ambulance arrived. Her caretakers consoled her, fearing that she might faint again due tothe loss of her father.

“You’re not me. You couldn’t possibly understand what losing a father is like…”novelbin

Liliane’s vision blacked out, and she passed out in the arms of one of her caretakers just as theambulance arrived.

Liliane and Billy were transported to the hospital together. Upon their arrival, the doctors discoveredthat Billy had signed an organ donation agreement before his demise. Moreover, they found that hisheart was a match for Liliane, who had also expressed her desire for a heart transplant.

Consequently, the surgery took place at that very hospital.

Billy would never have expected Liliane-the daughter he had raised since she was young-to fully inheritLeah and Shane’s venomous personalities.

The surgery was a tremendous success thanks to the compatibility between Billy’s heart and Liliane’sbody.

Observing Liliane after her successful surgery, Scott couldn’t help but sigh.

“She’s an incredibly fortunate woman, defying death time and time again.”

However, Scott was unaware that good luck didn’t exist in the world. Instead, there were only peoplewilling to stain their hands with blood without hesitation in order to survive.

News of Liliane’s successful surgery reached Leah’s ears, courtesy of the mysterious man.

Leah clenched her fists with excitement upon reading the note, which stated that Liliane had inheritedall of Billy’s wealth following his death.

Leah had been searching tirelessly for a suitable heart to save her daughter’s life for years. In the end, that heart belonged to the Anstey family’s deadbeat.

In fact, if Leah had known that Billy’s heart was compatible with Liliane’s, she wouldn’t have allowedhim to live as long as he did.

After all, she had no qualms about being a widow!

Despite everything that had occurred, it was still a happy ending for Leah. With Billy gone, all sheneeded was for Liliane to recover, hire a lawyer, and secure her release from prison, which wouldn’t bemuch longer.

After reading the note, Leah tore it into pieces and shoved them into her mouth to destroy the

evidence.

Long-distance flights were often tedious for most people, but Esther and Felix were still in high spirits atthat moment.

They enjoyed a wide array of food, drinks, and games on the private jet, making it a joyful time forthem.

“Where are we going now, Mommy?” Felix asked.

“I’m taking you to meet your two adorable little sisters,” Esther replied.

“Is Pixie one of them?” Felix asked playfully.

Esther shook her head and gently caressed Felix’s face. Softly, she replied, “No, their names

are Sunshine and Twinkle, but they are also two very cute little girls.”

Felix looked up with a mischievous grin and asked, “How cute are they?”
