Chapter 334

Chapter 334

Melinda heard a commotion at the entrance and nervously approached Bradley.

“Sir, is it true that Madam…”novelbin

Melinda had seen the news about Esther jumping into the sea. She never expected that Esther. wouldbe driven to the point of taking her own life. She was such a kind girl. How could she be gone just likethat?

Bradley ignored Melinda and walked straight to the living room.

The living room felt empty and lacked any warmth. Images of Felix and Esther bustling around theterrace suddenly flashed in Bradley’s mind. Esther was gentle and beautiful, while Felix was wellbehaved and sensible. He could hear their intimate whispers and joyful laughter echoing in his ears.

Bradley felt as if someone was viciously tearing his heart apart. He stumbled to the study andeffortlessly retrieved Esther’s secret crush diary from the drawer. He sat down on the chair and flippedthrough the pages. The diary had a girlish touch as Esther recorded her youthful

infatuation.

Encounters at street corners, eye contact at the basketball court, brushing past each other, heart-pounding moments at evening banquets. Esther used simple words to chronicle her youthful infatuationone after another.

During a time unknown to Bradley, there was a girl who had been doing everything she could to getcloser to him. The delight, bitterness, sweetness, and helplessness of an unrequited crush-like a oneperson play, Esther had documented all her feelings in this diary during those days of unreciprocatedlove.

The final pages of the diary captured Esther’s indignation. The young Esther questioned why he didn’tbelieve in her. It turned out that her questioning and anger were signs of her caring about him. Sheexpressed in the diary that even if the whole world considered her a murderer, she only cared about hisopinion. Unfortunately, she hadn’t received a response but instead. experienced Bradley’s despair andhelplessness as he personally sent her to prison.

Bradley read the diary dozens of times throughout the night. With each reading, his heart ached a littlemore. He sat in the study chair, gazing at the secret crush diary before him.

After finishing the diary, he looked at the photos of Esther and Felix together on his phone. They werebeautiful, lively, and full of life in the pictures, but now they were both gone. Perhaps they had alreadyreunited while he remained forever separated from them in different worlds.

Suddenly, Bradley’s phone rang. He answered the call with a hoarse voice, “What’s the matter?

Clark was at a loss upon receiving an email in his inbox. “Mr. Warner, Mr. Searle’s side has informed usthat a funeral will be held at the location of Esther’s accident at 10:10 am. today.”

“How dare he!?”

Bradley clenched his fists and slammed them on the desk before angrily storming out of the study.

Melinda stepped back in shock when she saw Bradley’s appearance. She sadly exclaimed, “M- Mr.Warner, your hair…”

Bradley ignored Melinda’s astonished expression and went straight to the rooftop helipad.

Melinda watched his departing figure and wondered if he had intended to dye his hair the previousnight.

How did his hair turn white overnight?
