Chapter 326

Chapter 326

It was quite normal for someone like Jasper to have several phones. As he inserted the SIM card intoone of them, the phone suddenly started ringing.

“Hello, who’s this?” Jasper answered.

Relieved to hear Jasper’s voice, Oliver went straight to the point. “Hello, I’m Oliver Quill. I’d like to talkto you about Esther Quill.”

Jasper inquired, “What’s your relationship with Esther?”

“I believe she is my older sister’s daughter,” Oliver replied with a hint of regret. If he hadn’t lost track ofEsther previously, perhaps the tragedy surrounding her wouldn’t have occurred. “Mr. Quill, I’m not inthe mood to discuss Esther’s matters with you at the moment. However, I can arrange for Esther’sadoptive father to speak with you about the circumstances of her adoption.”

“Thank you, Mr. Searle,” Oliver expressed his gratitude.

Not in a rush to meet Jasper, Oliver made an appointment to meet Billy at a hotel.

After ending the call with Oliver, Jasper raised an eyebrow and asked coldly, “Kevin, aren’t you going toinform Bradley about my side of the story?”

“Jasper, you…” Kevin pleaded weakly, “Just tell me if she’s alive or…”

“Kevin, are you blind? Didn’t you see her jump before me?” Jasper didn’t directly answer Kevin’squestion but glared at him menacingly. “If you had an ounce of conscience, you should be mourning forEsther right now. You were ordered by Bradley to follow me, thinking that Esther and I conspired for astaged performance, correct?”

Kevin looked embarrassed as he sat weakly on the sofa, helplessly saying, “I truly had no idea thatBradley would push Esther to such an extent.”

“You had no idea? Kevin, can a simple ‘I had no idea’ erase the guilt in your conscience?” Jaspersneered mockingly. “A normal person would consider that Felix is not only Bradley’s son but alsoEsther’s. She lost two children in less than half a year. Who are you to think she could withstandBradley’s confinement?

“Have you ever seen her as a real person? Do you think she’s not human? Esther repeatedly told youshe had nothing to do with Mr. Thomas’ accident. Why don’t you believe her?

“Now that she has fulfilled your wish and paid for it with her life, what are you doing here pretending tobe sentimental? It’s truly sickening!”

Jasper’s words rendered Kevin speechless.

“Get out! Stop being a nuisance!” Jasper glared at Kevin, utterly disappointed, and disdainfully grabbedhis arm to chase him out. “Leave! Both you and Warner, never show your faces in front of me again.”novelbin

Kevin stood motionless, crying with his hands covering his face.

Meanwhile, Oliver met Billy in the presidential suite of a hotel.

“Hello.”

Billy was astonished when he received Oliver’s call. Although Billy was a moderately successfulbusinessman, the difference between him and someone like Oliver, from a noble family, was like nightand day.

In Billy’s mind, Oliver was the kind of tycoon who could bankrupt someone with a snap of his fingers.

“Mr. Anstey, please have a seat,” Oliver gracefully invited. He poured Billy a cup of tea. “Do you know awoman named Faye Quill?”

The name caught Billy off guard, and he asked in astonishment, “Are you related to Faye?”

“I am her younger brother, Oliver Quill.”

Billy was dumbfounded. He never expected Faye to be the heiress of a prestigious and wealthy familyin Capitus! Did that mean Esther was originally meant to be the heiress of the Quill family in Capitustoo?
