Chapter 303

Chapter 303novelbin

Liam was taken aback by Esther’s audacity in front of the live camera. “Esther Quill, stop making wildaccusations!”

How could his beloved Liliane be an illegitimate child?

Esther smirked, took a step forward, and spoke in a chilling tone next to Liam’s ear. “What’s thematter? Did you have your face and heart altered?”

“Esther Quill!”

Liliane stepped forward, positioning herself before Liam like a protective older sister. She knew that hertrue identity would be revealed eventually, but she never expected Esther to be the one to bring it tolight.

Liliane said, “I am not an illegitimate child. My father’s name is on my birth certificate.”

Esther snorted disdainfully and lightly pinched Liliane’s chin. She spoke deliberately, enunciating eachword. “But do you share any blood relation with him? No! Liliane, if you truly consider him your fatherand feel guilty, then return everything he gave you as a wedding gift.”

Liliane turned pale and pleaded pitifully, “Esther, this is between me and my father. It has nothing to dowith you!”

“How is it not my concern?” Esther’s tone turned icy. “My father has filed a lawsuit to reclaim what hegave you, and you shamelessly hold onto it? Liliane, do you believe your illness is punishment for yourmother’s wickedness? Hmm?”

Seeing Liliane on the brink of a breakdown, Liam pushed Esther away and positioned himself in front ofLiliane with his arms outstretched, his expression hostile. “Esther, what right does a woman who spentfive years in prison like you have to—”

Esther slapped Liam across the face once again. She raised an eyebrow indifferently and sneered.“Liliane knows better than I do why I went to prison back then. Liliane Anstey, God is watching youractions. The truth will be revealed one day.”

Liliane’s heart ached intensely. She had no idea that Esther had already lost everything and was nowacting recklessly.

“Esther, it’s been five years, and you still refuse to admit your mistakes?” Liliane clutched her chest andturned her back to the camera, glaring at Esther. “Have you ever considered why your son anddaughter died? Perhaps it’s karma for your malic-”

Esther slapped Liliane, and Liliane used the opportunity to faint in Liam’s arms.

“Liliane!” Liam held Liliane anxiously, then glared at Esther and asserted with authority,” Esther, ifanything happens to Liliane, I will make you pay!”

Neither Liam nor the viewers of the live stream saw it, but Esther clearly noticed the triumphant smirkon Liliane’s face when her scheme succeeded during the fainting episode.

“The villain always outlives others. She won’t die!” Esther remarked.

Liam gritted his teeth as he looked at Esther. “Just wait for my lawyer’s letter!”

“Get yourself a better lawyer. Otherwise, you’ll lose the case and your reputation…”

Liam had never encountered such a brazen woman like Esther. He was furious, wishing he could tearher apart to avenge Liliane. But thinking about Liliane’s condition, he suppressed his anger and carriedher to find a doctor.

Xara, who had been observing the scene from the sidelines, approached Esther. Although they werenot very close, Xara knew that Esther wasn’t typically sharp-tongued. There had to be a reason shespecifically targeted Liam that day.
