Chapter 293

Chapter 293

Two hours later, the maids entered the room, carrying delicious freshly prepared dishes. The bedroomwas filled with a lingering scent reminiscent of the earlier activities, along with a faint, elusive hint ofblood.

At a round table, Bradley sat gracefully, attending to his work. His exceptionally handsome featurescarried an indescribable sense of elegance and laziness.

The young maids placed the food on the table, their eyes filled with envy and excitement after stealinga glance at Bradley. One of them ventured to ask, “Mr. Warner, do you have any other orders?”

Bradley remained aloof, exuding inherent arrogance and pride as he curtly replied, “Leave.”

The maids silently exited the room, though one of them couldn’t help but feel a surge jealousy uponnoticing suggestive marks on Esther’s body.

Sensitive to people’s ill intentions, Esther observed the maid’s retreating figure with a thoughtful smirk.

The aroma of the food filled the air, making her hungry. She knew Bradley’s personality well- he alwaysgot what he wanted. If she continued her hunger strike, he would resort to administering nutritionalfluids to ensure her physical well-being.

In Bradley’s eyes, she was merely a valuable tool for bearing children, with little regard for her thoughtsor desires.

“Esther, get up and eat,” Bradley commanded.

Esther slowly got up, tied her bathrobe without paying him much attention, and headed to thebathroom. The sound of running water emanated from the bathroom, causing an involuntary twitch inBradley’s temple.

Esther emerged from the bathroom 20 minutes later, her hair still dripping wet. She distantly sat on achair, picking up the food in front of her in silence. With just one bite, she recognized the chef’ssignature flavor-the same chef who had prepared food for her in Warner Manor in the past.

Tears welled support her.

Bradley’s gaze involuntarily fell upon the faint red marks on her neck. He felt uncomfortable, so helooked away, took a deep breath, and walked over to her, forcefully pulling her toward the bathroommirror.

“Dry your hair!” he demanded.

Esther replied coldly, “I won’t die.”

“Don’t push me, Esther,” Bradley warned. He pinched her chin, forcing her to face her reflection in themirror.

Mockingly, he said, “Take a good look at yourself in the mirror and see if you’re deserving!”

Esther gazed at her reflection-a woman who had been indulged and pampered. The laziness andcontentment in her eyes made her bloom like a flower, especially with the marks on her skin, each onerevealing the intimacy she had experienced.

“Mr. Warner, who was it that just couldn’t resist earlier?” Esther taunted.

Bradley tightened his grip on Esther’s chin, applying slight pressure. Her porcelain-like face instantlyflushed, sensing Bradley’s anger.novelbin
