Chapter 290

Chapter 290

“Then give me birth control pills.”

Esther used to yearn for an intimate relationship with Bradley, but now, when his hands touched herskin, all she felt was disgust and resistance deep within her heart. Despite her strong aversion, herbody instinctively submitted to him.

“Esther, Felix had an accident. Bradley will need time to accept this fact. He might want to have anotherchild with you. Since things have already happened, why don’t both of you let go of the past and lookahead? I believe Bradley’s attitude will change once you become pregnant.”

Kevin’s words made Esther cover her face as she burst into wild laughter. How absurd!

Kevin claimed she was his savior, yet he was urging her to obey Bradley and obediently bear a child forhim. On what grounds? Why should she have this child?

“Kevin, it’s highly questionable that you, as a doctor, would say such things. It makes me doubt whetherBradley paid for your Ph.D.”

Kevin sighed helplessly and softly pleaded, “Esther, you and Felix have only been together for a shortwhile, and already you find it difficult to accept Felix’s accident. Please try to see things from a differentperspective. Consider Bradley’s feelings for Felix. Isn’t it natural for him to have difficulty accepting it fornow? Esther, don’t you love him? Can’t you think about it for his sake?”

“Kevin, I don’t love him anymore.” Esther slowly raised her hand and looked at the bruises on her wristwith a disgusted expression. “Just the thought of him makes me nauseous.”

Yes. She had fallen in love with him in her young and naive years like a moth drawn to a flame. Shealways believed she had plenty of time to warm him up, to melt him. But little did she know it was all

just a one-sided show.

Kevin fell silent. He didn’t know how to persuade Esther and Bradley, both filled with resentment. Itseemed there were countless unsolvable knots between them. Even if he were all-powerful, it would befutile in their case.

“Esther, let the nurse properly apply medicine to your wounds.” Kevin signaled the nurse with his eyes.

As a man, it would be inappropriate for him to stay in the room, so he quietly left, heading to the studywhere Bradley was staring at the surveillance video of the bedroom.novelbin

Bradley’s dark eyes shifted away from the surveillance screen as he sneered. “She says I’mdisgusting.”

Why didn’t she say that when she willingly got into my bed back then?

“Bradley, how did you and Esther end up like this?” Kevin weakly sat on the genuine leather sofa chair, torn between Bradley and Esther. “Esther didn’t betray you and even gave birth to your children. Forthe sake of the children, no matter how much resentment you have toward her-”

“Kevin,” Bradley leaned back on the leather chair, exuding a domineering aura. His slender fingersinterlocked together, his expression indifferent yet filled with indescribable ferocity. “She caused mygrandfather’s death, and Felix had an accident because she wanted to leave with him.”

“Bradley, five years ago, we all believed Esther betrayed you, but the truth proved otherwise,” Kevin’stemples throbbed rapidly as he spoke rationally and restrained himself. “Since there was no betrayal, the court video from five years ago could also be false.

“Moreover, Esther has never admitted to what happened five years ago. I can’t think of any reason shewould want to remove Grandpa Thomas’ oxygen mask. She had no motive. Bradley, what you’re doing

to her is truly cruel.”
