Liliane looked at Billy, tears welling up in her eyes, and replied, “Dad, I truly didn’t know he was myfather! But don’t worry, even if Shane is my biological father, you will always be my dad.”
Although Billy had no money, shares, or material possessions, Liliane still had to put on a show. Hewas easily manipulated, so she hoped to manipulate him to the point where he would bring Esther’sheart to her. After dropping this bombshell, Billy calmly left.
Upon hearing that Shane and Leah were going to prison, Liliane couldn’t control her temper any longer.She grabbed objects around her and started smashing them on the ground.
After dealing with Liliane regarding their final father-daughter relationship, Billy drove to Warner Manor.He parked his car before the gate but hesitated to get out. He didn’t know how to face Esther.

Billy sat silently in the car, flipping through his phone album, only to find that there wasn’t a single photoof Esther. He let out a bitter laugh and covered his face with his hands. Leah was right about him beinguseless.

As Billy recalled all the foolish things he had done over the years, he slapped himself. He had messedup everything.
Taking a deep breath, Billy finally opened the car door and got out. He owed Esther an apology. Heowed her mother, Faye, an apology.
