Chapter 261

“Shane, what’s wrong?” Jessica asked, confused.

Shane released his grip on her arm and was about to approach Bradley, but he froze as he witnessedBradley putting his arm around Ben’s shoulder and speaking coldly. “Mr. Hoyer, I have a matter todiscuss with your son. It may cause a slight delay, but rest assured. I will arrange a private jet to takeyou on your way later.”

Panic spread across Shane’s face, and he desperately wanted to shout, “Bradley, don’t do anythingreckless! Come after me if you must! But don’t you dare harm my son!”

But all that came out of his mouth were stammering words. “M-Mr. Warner…”

With his arm still around Ben’s shoulder, Bradley forcefully led the boy toward his helicopter at theairport, leaving no room for refusal. Ben, captivated by the helicopter, innocently observed everythingon board, unaware of the danger he was in.

Bradley introduced Ben to Esther, stating, “This is my spouse.”

Polite and unsuspecting, Ben greeted Esther, “Hello, Mrs. Warner.”

As Esther looked at the boy’s innocent face, she couldn’t help but see Felix’s adorable visage in hermind. This was Shane’s son. If it weren’t for Shane… her Felix wouldn’t have suffered.

An eye for an eye! This was Bradley’s act of revenge.

But for Esther, revenge was the last thing she desired. All she wished for was Felix’s safe

return.

The helicopter soared into the sky, and Shane collapsed to his knees, his legs giving way. Finally, hiswife realized that something was terribly wrong.

“Shane, what are you doing? Call the police!” Jessica grabbed her phone, ready to dial emergencyservices. Unaware of who Bradley truly was, she only knew that he had forcibly taken their son.

“No… We can’t involve the police.” Shane snatched the phone, adamantly preventing Jessica frommaking the call. He looked at her, determination in his eyes, and said through his gritted. teeth, “Honey, trust me. Even if it means risking my life, I will bring our son back!”novelbin

“Shane, your enemies have come knocking at our door, and you still want to keep me in the dark?”Jessica’s anger flared, and she slapped Shane across the face.

Taking a deep breath, Shane urgently pleaded, “Listen to me carefully. I know where they’ve gone, andI’m going there now. No matter what happens, don’t ask questions, and don’t panic. If somethinghappens to me, don’t let our son live a life consumed by hatred. Once he returns. to you, take himabroad-far away-and never come back.”

Jessica sensed the seriousness in Shane’s voice and the foreboding in his words. Nervously, sheasked, “Shane, what exactly has happened? Please explain clearly.”

“Pay close attention. I opened a bank account in our son’s name in a foreign bank. The password is thelast six digits of his ID card,” Shane explained every detail, his voice filled with urgency. “I also have asafety deposit box in the same bank under your name. Inside, you’ll find property deeds, stocks, andenough to sustain you abroad. Honey, thank you for

giving me such a wonderful son.”

‘In my next life, I promise to be a good husband. I will never engage in any illegal or immoral activitiesagain.”

After speaking, Shane pushed Jessica away and quickly drove off.

Jessica followed suit in her own car, disregarded traffic lights, and drove recklessly, matching Shane’sdesperate determination.
