It was apparent that Noella did not believe him. She checked the time and asked, “Are you free now?”
“Why?”
“Come with me to a party.”

Lex poured her a drink right away. “Noella, you won‘t mind a drink, right?”
Noella said, “Of course.”
Lex cracked a cynical smile after seeing how Noella downed the drink. “I‘m sure that you‘re very goodat drinking, Noella. It seems that I‘ve found my match tonight.”
He downed his drink and darted a look at Kayson. “Who is that?”
Joanna took the lead to explain, “That is Noella‘s new boyfriend. She was still single yesterday, yet shebrought her boyfriend with her today. I was taken by surprise too.”
