Clutching her phone, Charlotte paced the office. It’s already ten, an hour till the press conference.
Since Gordon would be in charge of security, she could finally heave a sigh of relief.
She could rebut the accusations the media had thrown at her and even provide evidence to thecontrary.
However, she had no idea what would ensue.
While she was out in the open, the culprit remained hidden in the dark. It was impossible to beprepared for the lurking threats.
