“Bully Mommy and you must pay a price!” Lucian snorted coldly. Nox nodded vigorously, his fingerstapping on the keyboard again.
Seeing this, Lucian was a little puzzled. “What are you doing?”
Nox excitedly said, “Their technicians are just rubbish. My virus is so simple, yet it hasn‘t been cracked.If that‘s the case, then I‘ll give it to them again. I‘ll give them some extra challenge just to piss the badwoman off!”
Lucian nodded in agreement.
“It‘s better if they can‘t solve it so that more people will see her as a joke. Let‘s see if she still dares tobully our mommy!” The two little boys threw themselves into fits of laughter around the computer.
Suddenly, there was the sound of footsteps at the door. Lucian‘s keen ears heard movement outsidetheir room and quickly hushed Nox. Nox finished coding in a hurry and shoved the laptop into hisbrother‘s arms.novelbin
When Rosalie entered the door, what she saw was Lucian holding the laptop in his arms and Nox lyingon the side watching his brother curiously.
“I thought your stomach hurt? You should have a good rest. Why are you still on the laptop?” Rosaliefrowned slightly. She sat down beside the twins. “Come here. Let me check your pulse again.”
The twins froze for a while upon hearing this.
Mommy was a very skilled doctor. If she checked them, it would reveal the twins‘ secret! By
then, they definitely could not hide what they had done from Mommy!
Rosalie reached out to grab Nox‘s wrist, but Nox dodged his mother.
“What‘s wrong?” Rosalie looked at him puzzled. Nox cradled his wrist protectively, suddenly notknowing how to react. He looked at Lucian for help.
Lucian appeared calmer and extended his arm to Rosalie.
“Mommy, I feel better after the medicine you gave us, but if you‘re still worried, you can check if youlike.”
Rosalie‘s attention was temporarily drawn to Lucian as she placed her fingertips onto the pulse pointsof his wrist. After confirming that there was nothing wrong, she looked at Nox again. She rememberedthat Nox’s symptoms were slightly more serious just now.
Taking a cue from his brother‘s reaction, Nox also leaped into action. He leaned in front of their motherand beamed widely,
“Mommy, I feel much better too! The medicine you gave us worked so well. Mommy, you‘re the mostpowerful doctor in the world! Brother and I adore you so much! We love you the most.”
Rosalie chuckled and shook her head amusingly. After checking, she found that the two little boysseemed alright. While she was relieved, she felt that something was wrong.
“It‘s still a little uncomfortable, though,” Nox said solemnly.
In response, Rosalie‘s heart tightened as she looked at him worriedly. Just then, she heard the littleboy’s affectionate voice.
“It‘ll be better with Mommy‘s hugs.”
Then, a soft, tiny body rushed toward her. She smiled and welcomed the little boy into her arms. Thedoubts in her heart disappeared. She cuddled the little boy and they looked at the computer screentogether.
“Lucian, what were you doing?” While Nox got their mother‘s attention, Lucian had already switchedthe web page. He looked up at Mommy‘s eyes as if nothing had happened.
“I‘m looking at the trend of the stock market today, I made some money in the projects I investedabroad before.”
“My brother made a profit. More than 50 million!” Nox seemed even prouder than Lucian – himself.
Rosalie could not help but feel surprised.
“That much profit? Lucian, you did so well!” Nox asked coquettishly, “What about me?” Rosalie smiledand said, “Your computer skills are also very good. You both are awesome. I love you both so much!”After that, she smiled and kissed their foreheads. The two little boys grinned innocently.
