Rosalie only then realized while they were eating that Lisa had actually set Byron’s seat opposite her.
The man’s gaze would fall on her from time to time.
Rosalie felt really awkward during dinner.

The children looked at Rosalie expectantly not knowing what roles they were playing.
Rosalie’s head hurt a little. After searching through the script of sleeping Beauty, she said to the littleones after a bit of hesitation, “Estie will play the witch.”
The little girl nodded obediently.
“Mommy, what about US?” Lucian and Nox looked at their mommy expectantly.
They remember that there did not seem to be any suitable role for them in the story of SleepingBeauty…
Rosalie pondered for a few seconds before looking at the boys with some amusement. “You two? Youtwo can be the little fairies!”
Hearing this, the boys widened their eyes in surprise. They were boys, how could they play the fairies?
Seeing the surprised looks on the boys’ faces, Rosalie laughed out loud. “Alright, why don’t we changethe script? You two can play elves and replace the fairies that give their blessings to the princess at thefront of the story.”
Only then did the boys heave a sigh of relief. They obediently complied.
After assigning the children their roles, Rosalie got up and looked at the man beside her.
Byron met her gaze with an apathetic expression.
The smile on Rosalie’s face gradually subsided as they looked at each other and she said in a lowvoice, “It’s going to be a little bit more troublesome for US, President Lawrence. We have to play therole of the king, queen, and the prince and princess at the same time.”novelbin
Byron nodded noncommittally and agreed.
Seeing him agree so quickly, Rosalie breathed a sigh of relief. She handed the phone over to thechildren. ” This is the script; you should take a look at your own lines first. You guys should alsoprobably memorize them.”
The children accepted the phone and read the script together with their heads touching.
Rosalie looked at Byron again. “We also have to look at the script, please look for one, PresidentLawrence.”
Hearing this, Byron nodded slightly. He took out his mobile phone and searched for the script forsleeping Beauty.
Rosalie naturally leaned over to look at it together.
The distance between them was so close that they could even feel each other’s breathing.
Rosalie wanted to read the script but kept getting distracted by the person beside her. On the otherhand, Byron did not seem to have any reaction at all and was still scrolling through the screen on hisown.
By the time the script reached its end, Rosalie had barely gotten a few words in and there was even ablush on her face.
“Do you need to read through it again?” The man’s low voice sounded in her ear.
Rosalie snapped back to her senses, she quickly opened the distance between them and shook herhead, replying, “I’m fine. You can read it for a bit more if you need, President Lawrence.”
After saying that, she looked away guiltily.
Seeing the blush on her face, Byron raised a brow slightly and lowered her head noncommittally.
Rosalie breathed a sigh of relief.
Fortunately, she had read the Sleeping Beauty script a few times after she learned that they would beperforming it. Not only that, there were also not many lines for the princess.
“Mommy, we’re done reading, can we start?” The children were also done reading the script after awhile and approached Rosalie expectantly.
Rosalie took back the phone and nodded absently, she subconsciously glanced at the man standingbeside her.
Seemingly aware of her gaze, Byron put away his phone and looked up before nodding to her toindicate that he was ready too.
