Chapter 50

Chapter 50 Fought With Him

Estie sulked the entire journey home. Ignoring her daddy behind her, she went upstairs sulkily andlocked the door angrily.

Standing by the door, Mrs. Zora saw the little lady‘s angry appearance and her master‘s expressionlessone as he followed behind. She knew that these two had fought again. “Master, what’s the little ladyangry about?” Hearing the slamming of the door upstairs, Mrs. Zora looked at Byron with concern.Byron thought of the reason why the little girl was angry with him, and his tone was cold.” It‘s nothing. She‘s just throwing a temper tantrum. Look after her.”

Mrs. Zora nodded as usual and agreed. “Alright.”

She was also unaware why the little lady, who seldom showed her temper, was always getting angry atthe master.

Considering the master‘s character, he was not one to coax another either. The point was, this familystill needed a mistress. Estie was only angry at Byron. When Mrs. Zora came knocking, she stillopened the door obediently. “Little Lady, come and eat something.” Mrs. Zora brought a tray in, and itwas carrying all of Estie‘s favorites. Estie had no appetite, however. She sat down at the table and atetwo mouthfuls before pushing the plate away.

Seeing this, Mrs. Zora was distressed.

However, it was a matter between the father and daughter. She could not advise them. Hence, sheremoved the tray and took Estie in for a bath a little later.

When she came out after cleaning up the bathroom, she saw the little lady lying down on the side ofthe bed with a laptop in front of her. Her expression was sullen, and she was particularly serious as she

tapped away on the keyboard. She did not know what she was doing.novelbin

Mrs. Zora was used to seeing the little lady tapping away on the laptop, so she did not ask much. Shecleaned up the room and left.

On the other side, Rosalie was still on her way home with two boys.

Lucian and Nox were sitting quietly in the back. They looked at each other from time to time. Theywould also look at their mommy‘s expression through the rearview mirror.

They did not know what had happened in the kindergarten just now. Although Mommy had said thatshe was fine, they could both tell that she was in a bad mood.

“Mommy, we made greeting cards in the kindergarten today! The teacher asked us to make it for ourfavorite person so we made one for you!” Nox winked at his brother secretly. He nodded withunderstanding. “Mommy, do you want to know what we wrote?” Rosalie knew that they were trying tocheer her up, so she cooperated with them. She smiled and nodded. “What did you write?”

After she said that, she heard the sounds of them shuffling their bags from behind her. Then, Nox’svoice sounded as he recited emotionally. “My favorite person is Mommy! My mommy is a veryawesome doctor! Although she‘s always busy with work, my brother and I both know that Mommy lovesus most! Mommy is busy

saving lives and healing the wounded every day, and we think Mommy is the greatest! But we also feelvery bad for Mommy. I hope Mommy is not too tired. We’ll be very distressed if she’s very tired! I hopeMommy will always be the most beautiful!” Rosalie could not help laughing. “It‘s so long. No wonderyour teacher told me that you‘re so fluent. What about Lucian? What did you write?” Sitting upright,Lucian said seriously, “Mommy is a very awesome doctor. Treating patients is hard, and taking care ofme and my brother is also very hard. I want to be as awesome as Mommy in the future! I hope I can

grow up quickly and earn money to support my family. That way, Mommy won’t need to be tired.”Hearing the boys‘ words, Rosalie could not help but feel her heart go soft. Whatever happened back atthe kindergarten just now was thrown to the back of her mind. “Thank you, my babies.

The two little ones met gazes. Sensing that their mommy’s mood seemed to have improved, theysimultaneously heaved sighs of relief.
