Chapter 462 Funny Yet Gratifying

The night before the free clinic, Rosalie could not help but feel a little nervous.

After having her dinner, she went into the study early to review the materials that she had prepared inthe past few days.

A while into it, there was a knock on the door.

Rosalie retrieved her gaze from the computer screen and raised her voice to answer. “Come in.”

After she spoke, she saw the two little guys push open the study door. They came in with a smile.

Lucian was holding a cup of tea in his hands, while Nox was holding a slice of cake.

“Thanks, sweethearts.” Seeing the little guys placing the things beside her hands, Rosalie smiled asshe caressed their heads.

The little guys smiled like angels and stretched their heads to see the information on Rosalie’scomputer at the same time.

When they were abroad, it could be said that they had grown up in the research institute. As they werein such an environment for a long time, they had some knowledge of this information. They knew whatwas simple and what was complicated.

When they saw the contents on Rosalie’s screen, the little guys quietly retrieved their gaze.

The stuff that Mommy was reading was too difficult. They could not understand it when they glanced atit.

“You can do this, Mommy! ” Nox encouraged Rosalie with his kiddy voice.

Hearing his words, Rosalie had a wide smile on her face. “Thanks, sweetheart. I can do it.”

On the side, Lucian behaved like a grown-up and exhorted his Mommy, “You mustn’t stay up too late,Mommy, since the free clinic tomorrow is very important, it might affect your performance if you don’tget a good rest.”

Rosalie smiled knowingly. “I know.”

“You’re already excellent, Mommy. Even if you don’t prepare, you’ll still be the most outstanding onetomorrow!” Nox spared no effort in flattering his mother.

Rosalie was amused by him and leaned over to kiss the little guys on their foreheads. “Thanks forcheering me on, sweethearts. I’ll do my best. Quick, go rest. I’ll rest after I finish reading this.”

The little guys knew they would disturb Mommy’s work, so they agreed and exited the study.

The room suddenly became quiet again. Rosalie looked at the tea and cake from the corners of hereyes and felt a rush of peace in her heart.

After reading for a while, it was getting late. Rosalie also called it a night. She got up and cleared herthings, she was ready to get some rest.

As soon as she got out of the study, she saw the door of the kids’ room open for a bit. The two littleheads quickly went back inside.

Seeing this, Rosalie could not help but laugh, she moved forward and opened their door right away,“why aren’t you sleeping yet?”

The two little guys jumped into her arms and acted like spoiled children. “We were keeping an eye onyou, Mommy! It’s not good if you stay up too late. We were just about to tell you to rest! ”

Rosalie’s heart softened greatly, she patted their heads, put them to sleep, and got up to go to thebedroom.

The thought of tomorrow’s free clinic made her anticipate it, but at the same time, she was nervous.

Fortunately, she quickly adjusted her mood and drifted into slumber.

Early the next day, Rosalie woke up on time. As she opened the bedroom door, she saw the two ofthem again on her doorstep.

“Good morning, Mommy! ” The two little guys were wearing black suit overalls with a white shirt. Theirbowl-cut hair made them look like little princes as they looked up to greet their mommy in sweet voices.

When she saw how they looked, Rosalie’s mood turned much better in an instant. The stress in herheart had now disappeared.

When she brought them downstairs for breakfast, they also caringly gave her some food. Before sheheaded off, they did not forget to cheer her on again.

Rosalie thought it was funny yet felt gratified.novelbin
