Chapter 433

Chapter 433 The Cooperation Went Smoothly

Along the way, Byron’s mind kept ruminating on Rosalie’s heartless words.

He thought that taking the little girl to see her would soften the woman’s heart, but he never expectedher ruthlessness. He never thought Rosalie would say such a thing despite seeing the little girl being soworried about her.

She asked him to not take the little girl to see her again in the future.

That woman just did not want to see him.

Byron’s mood was still foul and ugly as he entered the company. It was evident in his expression.

“Master,” Luther greeted him respectfully and said, ” President Quirke came over this morning and iswaiting for you in your office.”

Byron retracted his thoughts, nodded, and walked into the office, followed by Luther.

As soon as he entered the door, he saw Andrius sitting leisurely on the sofa with a document by hisside. Seeing him enter the door, Andrius picked up the document, got up with a smile, sat on the chairopposite the desk, raised his eyebrows, and asked, ” Why are you here so late today?”

Byron frowned. “I sent Estie to school.”

Andrius nodded, handed him the documents, and chatted about the cooperation project between theircompanies.novelbin

The two men had always had a close relationship and cooperated a lot. They had always cooperatedvery happily. This time, the project just needed a few words for confirmation and the deal was done.

Andrius got what he came here for, but did not leave immediately. Instead, he turned the topic toRosalie. ” By the way, s City called me and said that the cooperation with Dr. Jacobs has beenconfirmed. It seems that the negotiation process went well.”

The implication was that he was seeking praise from Byron.

Speaking of that woman, Byron could not help but think of what she said just now. His face slowly sank.Andrius frowned in confusion from his buddy’s expression. It was the opposite of what he expected ofByron’s reaction. “Why are you unhappy when I mentioned Dr. Jacobs? what happened to the two ofyou that I don’t know about?”

Before waiting for Byron’s response, Andrius persuaded him earnestly, saying, “Back then, everyonehad heard of your attitude toward Dr. Jacobs. But now that you want to keep her by your side, you haveto be patient. Besides, Dr. Jacobs is a woman and Estie’s biological mother, you have to accommodateher.”

Byron’s eyes darkened, and he said noncommittally, ” I know.”

Andrius said a lot but only got this answer in return. He was stunned for a few seconds before he askedsilently, “What do you know?”

Byron gave him a deep look, “Rosalie’s cooperation went very smoothly.”

The words Andrius just said to him were in vain.

Andrius sighed helplessly, then suddenly realized what Byron had just replied. He looked at him, puzzled. “How do you know?”

He was always in charge of contacting the medicinal materials supplies in s city. Besides, it was evenmore impossible for Rosalie to take the initiative to tell Byron about this.

Thinking of this, Andrius looked at his buddy suspiciously.

Could it be that this person had sent someone to monitor Dr. Jacobs?

Byron said indifferently, “I was in s City in the past two days. I only came back yesterday.”

Andrius was stunned and thought about it carefully. His buddy’s travel time almost coincided with thetime when Rosalie went to s City and came back.

He then remembered Byron specifically asking him when Rosalie went to s city two days ago.

If Byron also went after learning that Rosalie was going to s City, it would make a lot of sense.

Moreover, if this was the case, his buddy must have also attended the dinner party the night beforeyesterday.
