Rosalie pursed her lips angrily and struggled for a bit. She could not break free from his shackles,however.
Sensing her struggle, Byron’s face darkened slightly. ” Are you going to take a taxi from the roaddressed like this? What kind of weather do you think it is now?”
“I don’t need President Lawrence worrying. I can take care of myself,” Rosalie responded coldly.
Byron was then aware that the concern in his words just now had been too obvious. He frowned andsaid, ” It won’t be easy to hail a taxi on this road. I’m afraid the dinner party would have long started bythe time you get there.”
Rosalie turned and glanced at the road.
Arachne was indeed in a very remote location. There were very few cars on the road and no sign of ataxi.
